Depopulation part 2

I have been forced to the conviction that this particular behavior pattern [psychopathy] is found among one's fellow men far more frequently than might be surmised from reading the literature. If the nature of the disorder in question defines itself throughout the course of this work with sufficient sharpness and clarity to be recognizable as a pathologic entity, little doubt will remain that it presents a sociologic and psychiatric problem second to none. - THE MASK OF SANITY: An Attempt to Clarify Some Issues About the So-Called Psychopathic Personality, Hervey Cleckley, M.D., Fifth Edition
Bruce makes an excellent point in his comment:

...well, as John Prine sings on his new album, “some humans ain't human, some people ain't kind.”...
I usually figure that by the time I have managed to figure something out, most must already know about it. But, I am not sure most are aware just how extensive and pervasive the psychopathic problem really is. So, before delving into the occult and high strangeness, I will take Bruce's prompt and make some quick notes about the world of the psychopath.

It is as if the more evolved the species, the more evolved the predator becomes. The major predator for human beings happens to look exactly like us, but inside they resemble little if anything most would call human:
The [psychopath] is unfamiliar with the primary facts or data of what might be called personal values and is altogether incapa- ble of understanding such matters. It is impossible for him to take even a slight interest in the tragedy or joy or the striving of humanity as presented in serious literature or art. He is also in- different to all these matters in life itself.

Beauty and ugliness, except in a very superficial sense, goodness, evil, love, horror, and humour have no actual meaning, no power to move him. He is, furthermore, lacking in the ability to see that others are moved. It is as though he were colour-blind, despite his sharp in-telligence, to this aspect of human existence. It cannot be ex-plained to him because there is nothing in his orbit of awareness that can bridge the gap with comparison. He can repeat the words and say glibly that he understands, and there is no way for him to realize that he does not understand. [Ibid]
Psychopaths appear to be excellent tools to fulfill the bizarre agenda of depopulation. Incapable of projecting their actions into the future, they can't see that they are killing off their food supply. They also can not conceptualize that a basic Machiavelli trick may apply to them: kill off those who perform the dirty tricks for you. Although, The Prince appears to be the basic handbook.

They are only capable of existing as parasites. If everyone had realized the truth of their existence, actually coped with the fact that something so horrible existed and resisted their tricks and cunning they would have died of starvation long ago - never to trouble the human gene pool again.

Here is as good a place as any to mention one of the core aspects of my personal philosophy: never act against another, instead defend one's own destiny, however that destiny may be defined by the individual. (Choose your own philosophy, or one will be chosen for you. It is said nature abhors a vacuum.)

Psychopathy has been one of those half-secrets. The word is often on the tip of everyone's tongue, yet the usual image conjured up is the serial killer.
The truth is far more insidious. Very likely one may be a member of our extended family, a neighbor, a lover, a friend or a boss.

They may not be killers or torturers, yet are cunning manipulators who seem to cast a spell over others and hold them under their power. Cleckley mentions that they seem nearly irresistible to the opposite sex. (Or as it has been increasingly revealed in the neo-con world, irresistible to the same sex.)

Western civilization has been twisted and distorted to reward psychopathic behavior, and has made it an adaptive tactic for success. I highly recommend the documentary The Corporation.

Most psychopaths learn how to not get caught, or do not break the law in a brazen manner. Notice how the Bush Reich has the law rewritten, or has pseudo legal papers drawn up stating the Geneva conventions do not apply so proceed with torture.

We will understand very little of what is going on the world stage right now, unless we understand the inner landscape of the psychopath. It is bleak and troubling to study the subject, but it is a bit late to flinch now. I have included some suggestions for further research for those interested:

“The Sociopath Next Door: The Ruthless Versus the Rest of Us” (Martha Stout)

“Without Conscience: The Disturbing World of the Psychopaths Among Us” (Robert D. Hare)

“Unholy Hungers : Encountering the Psychic Vampire in Ourselves & Others” (BARBARA E. HORT)

“The Mask of Sanity: An Attempt to Clarify Some Issues About the So Called Psychopathic Personality” (Hervey Cleckley)

And Studies in Psychopathy. Lots of great links and commentary found at this link.

Should we REFORM, REGULATE or REWRITE the corporation? Join the debate!

The online collaborative Corporation Rethink Debate is part of an ongoing House Party Campaign built around the DVD release of the hit film The Corporation. Since the beginning of April, people across North America have been partying with a purpose: to strategize solutions and activate a public confronted by an increasingly corporation-dominated world. Not to mention, have a little fun on the side…

On May 7, 2005, over 1,800 people logged in to watch the live webcast of the first “official” debate with special guests L. Hunter Lovins (Natural Capitalism - REFORM), Joel Bakan (author of The Corporation - REGULATE) and Jeff Milchen (Reclaim Democracy - REWRITE). But the debate goes on and we really want your feedback around the issues and the three "R”s, even if this is the first time you’re hearing about it. All the information collected will be used to formulate a Framework for Action document on Corporate Harm Reduction and to fuel future campaigns. We need your input to ensure the campaign makes the biggest impact it can and action translates into results!

The Corporation House Party Campaign is the brainchild of Good Company Communications, the grassroots organizer of the film, and is sponsored by Amnesty International USA and Polaris Institute in Canada. The campaign is kicking off the launch of the network to inform, organize and mobilize people around issues they care about, and provide DIY tools for activists, artists and makers of media. Membership is free and allows you to choose the kind of independent socially conscious projects you want to hear about and get access to all the cool materials we've assembled. By joining, you will help build the foundation for a truly collaborative movement and shape the direction we’re heading in.

The merchandise side of the network is where we are trying to promote a new kind of shopping that focuses on the issues and ideas underneath the packaging. It’s called “Think-buying” and our goals are no less than to inspire social change and to help customers know where, what and to whom their money is going. It’s all part of our quest to supply the demand – your demand – for a cooler world.

Methinks you have been spammed by a surfer using "psychopath" as a search term on an RSS feed. Did you check out his blog? Seriously ANGRY.

Just a thought, there is confusion with the population at large between the term psychopath and sociopath. Or it could just be me.
