U.S. HAS USED 250,000 BULLETS FOR EACH INSURGENT KILLED

ANDREW BUNCOMBE - US forces have fired so many bullets in Iraq and Afghanistan - an estimated 250,000 for every insurgent killed - that American ammunition-makers cannot keep up with demand. As a result the US is having to import supplies from Israel. A government report says that US forces are now using 1.8 billion rounds of small-arms ammunition a year. The total has more than doubled in five years, largely as a result of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as changes in military doctrine. . .

“Officials” get around this obvious ridiculous figure by saying that a large number of these bullets are used for “training purposes.” I propose that many, many more civilians and others have been shot than reported.

Rita has been downgraded to category 4. Plenty strong enough to cause trouble, and Houston is in gridlock:

All Peak Oil, All the Time part 6

Michael C. Ruppert is getting all excited again about our imminent destruction via peak oil, with hubris filled hints of his “inside sources in the energy industry”:

RITA: Storm May Be the Coup de Grace for the American Economy and Many of Us As Well

[...] Fully 30% of all US refining capacity is in the target zone. Perhaps most importantly, almost every refinery capable of producing diesel fuel is in immediate danger. This promises (especially in the wake of Katrina) a devastating and irreplaceable shortage of the diesel fuel needed to power America’s harvest of grain and food crops this month and next. Without diesel fuel to power the harvesters and combines, crops may be left to rot in the ground presenting a double whammy: food shortages (with prices that may treble or quadruple) and export defaults negatively impacting the financial markets and trade deficit. [...]

I am not denying that the scenario he describes may very well happen, but as I have said many times here before it will be deliberate. What better way to control your population than to make them poor and hungry; the better to shove your criminal agenda through.

We don't even have to get all cozy with hi-tech alternative energy sources, and change our current distribution structure to prop us up. There is biodiesel which is biodegradable and non-toxic. Some fleets of trucks are already running on the stuff. The National Biodiesel Board says there are delivery trucks rolling into the Gulf Coast right now.

George Bush has even signed two biodiesel bills into law. I am not sure if much will come of it, since the Regime didn't bother to protect the fifth largest port in the world.

Brace Yourself

According to Storm Track, Hurricane Rita is now a category 5, with an extremely healthy core capable of supporting an incredible wind field.

Reuters reports that Rita is not expected to flood New Orleans. Although, CBC quotes Dave Wurtzel, who is part of the corp for repairing the 17th Street Canal levee, “The protection is very tenuous at best.”

Stocks drop in the US and London, warnings that crude oil production could be a “national disaster”, Mission Control shuts down and the Hurricane Center may run out of names.

Not to be all doom and gloom, but I am also keeping on eye on the fact that Vancouver Island is moving westward:

“We think that it's one of these events that will trigger the big mega-thrust earthquake,” seismologist John Cassidy of the Pacific Geoscience Centre in Sidney, B.C., said yesterday.

The island is in The Ring of Fire. So these signs could be alerts to future activity:

The edges of the giant Pacific plate, which lies beneath the Pacific Ocean, form a particularly intense ring of tectonic activity, known as the “ring of fire.” This activity causes frequent earthquakes along the west coast of North America and in Chile, Alaska and Japan, and is also responsible for volcanic eruptions in the northwest United States, the Andes Mountains, and the Philippines.

Consider Galloway's statement in response to Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath:

Rita is heading toward the Texas coast, and the Houston Mayor urges evacuation as the storm rapidly grows into a Category 4. Galveston and New Orleans have mandatory evacuation orders. South Florida, so far, has been spared a direct hit.

Rita Developments: Experts in New Orleans warn that even a glancing blow from the storm and as little as 3 inches of rain could swamp the city's damaged levees. Engineers and contractors work furiously to repair levees and pumps that protect the below-sea-level city.

I notice that neocon-lovers are attempting to exploit the ignorance of the faithful by playing up the recent announcement of global warming on Mars, with such articles as “Hey Liberals: Better Save Mars from Global Warming”, and “Katie Couric and Matt Lauer Blame Hurricanes On Global Warming”, implying that liberals blame Bush for global warming and the whole notion of global climate change is a liberal fantasy.

The Bush regime is not responsible for global warming, despite their love of pollution, although the regime is certainly not helping. I can't but wonder that if those in power know that catastrophic changes are happening, making plans to save their own psychopathic hides, and leaving us out of the picture.

Update: From The Storm Track - Hurricane Rita is continuing her explosive growth and could easilly reach Category 5. Rita just moved out of range of the Key West radar and technical problem had grounded the hurricane hunters this morning, so NHC is flying blind.

Britain has a long history of terrorist activities, which are then blamed on someone else. Even during World War II, British agents were caught in at least one terrorist act, which they then planned on blaming on the Germans. Back in 2002, it was reported that a Neo-Nazi leader 'was MI6 agent'.

MI6 was also responsible for organizing Operation Mass Appeal, to convince the British public that genocide was necessary. Now they are busy trying to convince the world that those Muslims can't take care of themselves, and the white world needs to stay there indefinitely.

Laugh or Cry? The Real Chaos Cloud Story

Read what happens to the blog Proof Through the Night when he links to the Weekly World News article about the chaos cloud heading for earth devouring everything in its path.

But Dr. Albert Sherwinski is making Sitemeter's numbers spin like the scoreboard on Tommy's pinball machine. And it scares me.

Apparently many people aren't paying attention that yahoo syndicates Weekly World News articles for their entertainment section. Never mind that the article contains rather blatant mathematical inaccuracies. Are people really freaking the hell out over such obvious funny business?

Now what is interesting, is that the New Scientist posted an article entitled Galactic dust storm enters Solar System which states:

The Sun's shifting magnetic field is set to focus a decade-long storm of galactic dust grains towards the inner Solar System, including Earth.

The effect this will have on our planet - if any - is unknown. But some researchers have speculated that sustained periods of cosmic dust bombardment might be related to ice ages and even mass extinctions.

During the last decade, the magnetic field of the Sun acted like a shield, deflecting the electrically charged galactic dust away from the Solar System. However, the Sun's regular cycle of activity peaked in 2001.

As expected, its magnetic field then flipped over, so that south became north and vice-versa. In this configuration, rather than deflecting the galactic dust, the magnetic field should actually channel the dust inwards. [...]

I posted this article some time ago, and I have received no search engine hits regarding such things. A real story, with a real threat, and almost no play.

Instead, we have a piece written as entertainment and spoof, which merely distracts from real threats, and it generates a real buzz.

It seems to me that not only are we seeing a huge growing divide between the rich and poor due to Bush's fiscal policies, but also a huge growing divide between those who have been educating themselves about reality and those who are somehow becoming dumber.

The emails I receive in response to this blog show there are people paying attention, and that does give one some small hope.

The exact location on our globe the US will destroy next may be known only to the neocons. All we get are rumors, and usually not from our state controlled media. If you have any doubt that we have a state controlled media, then read up a bit on operation Mockingbird.

Znet informs us the US military is preparing to “spread democracy” in Paraguay, and using the vague phrase of “terrorist threats” as an excuse.

The CIA factbook itself informs us that:

The 35-year military dictatorship of Alfredo STROESSNER was overthrown in 1989, and, despite a marked increase in political infighting in recent years, relatively free and regular presidential elections have been held since then.

Of course the US was friends with Stroessner during his rule despite the fact that his regime was blamed for torture, kidnapping, widespread corruption, and harboring Nazis. He is the guy who helped Josef Menegele out of a tight spot.

Lets not kid ourselves here. The US is on an anti-democracy tirade, and that includes the US itself.

Hoo boy, are we living in interesting times:

Global warming 'past the point of no return'

A record loss of sea ice in the Arctic this summer has convinced scientists that the northern hemisphere may have crossed a critical threshold beyond which the climate may never recover. Scientists fear that the Arctic has now entered an irreversible phase of warming which will accelerate the loss of the polar sea ice that has helped to keep the climate stable for thousands of years.

They believe global warming is melting Arctic ice so rapidly that the region is beginning to absorb more heat from the sun, causing the ice to melt still further and so reinforcing a vicious cycle of melting and heating. [...]

Some time ago, the BBC posted an interesting set of before and after pictures of How the World is Changing. The SFGate also has an interesting set.

Also, melting can happen at a fairly rapid clip. Back in 2002 the Larson B ice shelf, east of the Antartic peninsula, broke apart and disappeared in just a few weeks. At the time, very few were willing to attribute this to global warming with any degree of certainty.

The Bush Machine is about to get their fondest desires made legal. The US is just a few pen strokes away from making Preemptive Nuclear Strikes legal.

Every US citizen is about to be made party to murder most foul. As if the US has not wrought enough destruction throughout the world.

Is the the slide toward complete entropy nearly upon us? Has our ignorance of how the world really works allowed the forces of hell to be unleashed upon us all? Yes, I am being melodramatic. These are melodramatic times.

We have an utterly insane regime with an itchy trigger finger, and they consider us the enemy.

Something to consider: everyone knows, including and especially including those who have been labeled terrorist due to the color of their skin, that the neocons are crazy enough to completely and utterly destroy a country with nuclear weapons. Now, why would they commit a terrorist act giving Bush a handy excuse? They wouldn't.

The first and most important thing to understand about psychopaths is that they accuse their victims of what they are doing.

Notice that the al-Qaeda suspect is supposedly an American. The next terrorist attack may be blamed on US citizens. There has been a steady stream of hate speech spewed from the likes of Fox and Limbaugh since 9/11, calling anyone who is of a life-affirming orientation a terrorist. We have been set up, and the next stage is to accuse anyone who questions Bush of being a terrorist. Sort of like the McCarthy era on steroids. There is no reason to believe the same won't happen to us, as the McCarthy machine rolled over so many US citizens.

After observation of the Bush regime's Katrina response we now know how they will respond in the event of a terrorist attack.

NASA REGULATES CONTACTS WITH THE PUBLIC

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration adopted a new policy this week to regulate contacts with the general public. The policy seems intended in part to insulate the agency from unscripted and unapproved interactions with the public.

Instead of responding directly to public inquiries, NASA employees are instructed to forward such inquiries to an authorized public affairs representative.

“Effective immediately, if you receive an e-mail from a member of the public, promptly forward it to the designated e-mail address for your Center,” the NASA message stated.

And then forget about it.

“You will not receive a reply that the e-mail has been successfully accepted, nor will you receive a copy of the response.”
The new policy, which also addresses messages that are sent to NASA by mistake, is needed “to ensure a responsive public communications program and enhance public perception of NASA,” the message states. [via The Memory Hole]

All Peak Oil, All the Time part 5

I recently stumbled onto this rather old and silly postcard. I don't know what year it was printed, and it looks like a bulk printing where they could imprint the name of which ever city ordered them. The postage mark is for North Dakota. I would think there was something more photogenic in Ellendale ND, but perhaps not.

Is it not nicely typical? A US citizen bragging about power consumption. It seems that there are forces at work to make sure that is but a memory of the past.

I have a difficult time reading through the peak oil boards as they get all excited about mainstream recognition regarding their pet disaster. They usually have some trite and ready explanation about piles of evidence showing that we don't have to run out of oil anytime soon, such as this one example out of many:

What does that mean for Canada?

They are already pumping a million barrels a day out of there, with plans to triple production.

Cheney had planned to pay them a visit, but decided to cancel after Katrina hit. Canadians have a habit of losing control over their big industries, and if they follow the same pattern we may be able to see production slowed down a bit:

If you believe the oil industry's response to Katrina, you'd think demanding environmentalists are to blame for $3 per gallon gasoline because the tree huggers shut down refineries with tough new rules. President Bush even mimicked the industry excuse by waiving environmental standards in the wake of Katrina. Well, the industry's own internal memos show the intentional shrinking of American refinery capacity in the 1990s was the oil companies' own idea to pump up profits.

Take this internal Texaco strategy memo:

“[T]he most critical factor facing the refining industry on the West Coast is the surplus of refining capacity, and the surplus gasoline production capacity. (The same situation exists for the entire U.S. refining industry.) Supply significantly exceeds demand year-round. This results in very poor refinery margins and very poor refinery financial results. Significant events need to occur to assist in reducing supplies and/or increasing the demand for gasoline.”

The memo went on to discuss a sucessful campaign in Washington State to shrink refined supply by removing other additives in the gasoline that filled gas volume.

Another Mobil memo shows the company promoted tough regulations in California to shut down an independent refiner. A Chevron memo acknowledged the industry wide need to shutter refineries and discussed how refiners were responding in kind.

Large oil companies have for a decade artificially shorted the gasoline market to drive up prices. Oil companies know they can make more money by making less gasoline. Katrina should be a wakeup call to America that the refiners profit widely when they keep the system running on empty. It's time for government to regulate the industry's supply. The fact that President Bush received $2.6 million from the oil industry for his reelection in 2004 should make regulation of the nation's gas supply one of the Democrats' most important talking points.

If there is such a thing as peak oil in our future it will be artificially manufactured.

The New Orleans port was the fifth largest in the world and the largest in the US, and the Bush Regime did not think it fit to spend the money to maintain it from a sure disaster predicted back in the 20th Century. I am not so sure this was gross incompetence.

All kinds of stuff has been happening under the cover of the New Orleans disaster, but I will have to wait to comment. Every day the stark and horrifying truth - that our government hates us and they hold us in contempt - is becoming more self evident.

Check out Hurricane Katrina - Our Experiences by Parmedics Larry Bradsahw and Lorrie Beth Slonsky. [via Signs] It appears that the Bush Regime has many foot soldiers who only follow orders, denying their own humanity - if they indeed had any to begin with - and more than willing to inflict harm on us. Meanwhile, the “subjects” work together and help each other through a terrifying ordeal.

I can hardly bear to watch the mainstream media blab on about this horror anymore. The Democrats are playing along and willing to play the blame game on someone lower on the totem pole than the neocons, namely that former (fired) horse man.

Once again peaceful groups are targeted: FBI, Michigan Police Tag Peace, Affirmative Actions Groups as 'Terrorists. Now the Army Times is reporting that Troops begin combat operations in New Orleans.

Our government despises us. Unfortunately it has taken an awful disaster for people to begin to truly see it. The Bush regime is busy blaming the people of New Orleans for the dire straits they found themselves in, which is the mark of true psychopathic activity.

We are only a means to their ends, and if we disrupt the ends they desire they want us to drown. So they send us off to die in illegal wars, misappropriate funds that should go in preparing for disasters here, and then pay cronies to fix the damage they allowed.

Now there are reports of a possible outbreak of dysentery.

I am sick of hearing sanctimonious outrage regarding people “looting”. If I was starving and cold, my beautiful and historic city had been shattered, I'm now homeless for the foreseeable future, probably developing some infection from the toxic water, coping with the unknown whereabouts of friends and family, and rescue workers are overwhelmed since the Bush Regime mired the National Guard in Iraq for murderous purposes instead of keeping them here so they can do their job - then get out of my way.

The media was always against us, and now they are showing their utter contempt for US citizens rather blatantly. See:

As the body count from the New Orleans devastation rises, and I am not sure if we will ever know the real casualties, we have to ask ourselves who is responsible for the devastation.

And I don't mean god.

I have posted several articles here, showing that there has been a level of awareness that hurricane seasons were only going to get worse primarily due to global warming. I have also posted several articles here that dealt with the Bush administrations contempt and outright sabotage of scientific work that the neocons did not want publicly known. The Guardian published another one yesterday.

Rigorous Intuition posted some interesting links about this disaster. This one was particularly troubling, showing that work on the levees was drastically cut back so that funding for the war in Iraq could continue.

Then the sandbagging that was promised did not materialize:

Scratchings pointed out in Freedom Frisking and Liberty Searches that the National Guard was frisking people seeking refuge in the Superdome.

We also have the Pentagon Coordinating Katrina Response, martial law has been declared. There are gas shortages. Perhaps thousands of people will default on their home loans. Loans for homes that are now destroyed.

This disaster is going to hurt for a long time.

Hurricane season doesn't start for another two weeks.

A bit of hyperbole perhaps, but I listen to friends and acquaintances who refuse to adjust their perceptions of what kind of world we live in now. They talk about saving up for down payments, making mild career adjustments, watching television...

Now is the time to see reality. It was split wide open for us to examine after 9/11, disgorging its coffins, filth, and toxic, sewage infected waste water.

From that day forward, you had to really fight to believe in a benevolent government who is looking out for your interest, or at the very least a government that was going to let you pass under the radar due to your insignificance. Not too insignificant mind you, their subconscious must reason, just a decent life with a bit of fun now and then.

Now we are faced with a hateful, destructive government and a planet that seems bent on hitting the reset button. Some of us attempt to pretend that reality will even out somehow. It will go back to that delicate balance, where bad things happen, but not predominately to me.

Now is not the time to be ignorant of entropy. Once the scale is tipped too far, it is a long time before balance is restored.

Hope lies in the individual taking responsibility, as an individual, and paying attention.

There are so many contributors and variables with climate change. I think we just have to get used to the idea that the surface of this planet has never been a stable place to live. I have mentioned this before, but there is another article about that devilish cosmic dust that can change a climate.

He was stationed in Afghanistan and was disgusted with the drug trade conducted by the US Army stationed there. He was so distraught that he felt he had to do something about it, shortly thereafter he was found dead in the shower with a bullet wound to the head.

I am reminded of the strange deaths surrounding Jessica Lynch's “rescuers”. The connections are made in my brain due to the ambiguity and the small clues that just don't completely add up. The official explanation could be the right one, but in both cases the Bush Regime has reasons to prefer these people dead.

We have seen time and time again that the neocons don't support our troops. They leave that job to the magnetic ribbons. They are certainly killing them, and it is not such a stretch they would have someone pull the trigger directly.

Around the time that Jessica denounced the Pentagon for using her for propaganda, and it was revealed that the PR specialist handling Lynch propaganda was the same person who promoted the phony Gulf War incubator story, I discovered the strange deaths:

Josh Speer drove his car off the road, on Hwy 11, near his home in South Carolina. In broad daylight on a Sunday afternoon.

Sok Khah Ung was at a family barbecue in Long Beach, California and was gunned down in drive by shooting.

David M. Tapper was shot in the back after being sent to the front lines of Afghanistan. He was transfered to Afghanistan shortly after the rescue.

Kyle Edward Williams startled someone who was breaking into his jeep, shot at them, and then supposedly shot himself afterwards. He didn't leave a note, and was on his way home to his family.

Of course, it could all be coincidence.

Bush Running Scared, Flees to the Mountains

Bush, or his handlers, are so scared of Cindy that they are sending him off to some remote retreat for the wealthy in Idaho. How much vacation does this man need? It is not as if he does anything in the White House - except vent his mad ravings on the underlings.

Now read about the awful slander the right has thrown at Cindy Sheehan. They are about as inspired as a chimp throwing its feces.

By now, most have heard that the mentally unstable Pat Robertson is calling for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. We also have the fact that the U.S. says Terrorists May Pose As Vagrants. Now all those tossed out on their ear due to Bush's insane economic policies can be rounded up and placed in interment camps. People will cheer - until they can no longer make their house payments.

I cannot find the article on the internet, but I did see an article in the newspaper today that those cave dwelling Muslim insurgents have plans to target satellites and knock out everyone's communication systems.

I am not making this up. They actually want us to believe that alQaeda can knock out a satellite. The psychopathic control freaks are so afraid of people like Cindy, that they plan on cutting us all off from the internet and other means of communication. After the Bush Reich flips some switch or other, putting a stop to all of us networking and sharing information, they will announce that it is al Qaeda's fault.

Yes, there will be plenty of people who will believe them.

Most of us did not speak up for those so maligned by this crazy rhetoric, and when we are disappeared just exactly who is going to speak up for us?

I think that the neocons wanted all those stories of torture to be leaked. They want to scare us. They are now working very hard on Cindy to scare us from speaking up.

It seems evident that we should begin wearing such titles as “crackpot,” “America hater,” “tragedy slut,” “media whore,” as badges of honor. (Just a few of the names leveled at Cindy.)

Never did I think that I would see such mass hysteria and insanity blanket the US.

And then mosey over and read about parents who are quite happy to sacrifice their children to Bush's angry and jealous god, thank you: Anti-War Mom Opposition Mounting.

A good many US citizens love a good blood sacrifice, it seems. And they get angry when you oppose any sort of killing, and spout of drivel like, “protesting emboldens the enemy.”

If it wasn't for voices like Cindy's the current American main stream rhetoric would be overwhelmed with people thinking that a voice different than theirs is treason. These people are feeling truly threatened by her bravery.

At the bottom of the hour on today's Special Report 8/8/05, Shep Smith gave his usual sneak preview of Fox Report. Among the stories mentioned was a Homeland Security“ segment,

in which Smith read ”Scientists testing the wind in New York City in hopes of saving lives should the unthinkable ever happen. They released colorless, harmless gas around the Big Apple today. The goal: see how a chemical or biological weapon might sweep through the city, and figure out the best way to get people out.“

Comment: While viewers are being terrorized by the thought of such an attack, Fox reassures them that the government is working hard to take care of them when it happens. What a powerful soundbite!

Regular Fox viewers don't even realized how badly they're yanked, from resenting the government to absolutely trusting it and back again.

Since most of us have no memory, and the media can't be bothered to mention the past we don't remember all these tests have already been done. And the stuff they tested with were not always harmless, inert agents.

A recent article from Wired shows once again how easily we are duped:

New Diet Trick: Induce Bad Memory

[...] A study on the power of suggestion found that people could be falsely persuaded that they had once become sick eating strawberry ice cream as children -- and they later said they would avoid this food. [...]

What the researchers did was gather data from the subject regarding personality and childhood experiences, then told the subject that they fed the data into a “very smart computer”.

“Then you add in (that) you got sick on strawberry ice cream. You want them to think about the getting sick aspect of the experience,” Loftus said.

Then the volunteers were asked to describe what may have happened -- for instance, eating strawberry ice cream at a birthday party and becoming ill.

“Most of our subjects came up with a belief that this had happened as opposed to developing an actual memory,” Loftus said.

And it worked:

Up to 40 percent of the students fell for it, and most of them lowered their preference for strawberry ice cream on a later questionnaire, Loftus and colleagues reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. [...]

I think it is safer to assume I can be duped, that I have been duped, and that right now I have some belief in something or other that does not correspond to reality. My job is to work toward an objective understanding.

Only the arrogant can say with one hundred percent self-assurance that they are too smart to be taken in by a well told lie.

It doesn't even have to be well told. Witness the legion of believers in the official story of 9/11. Although, that belief is steadily falling apart:

It might sound preposterous, like astrology, to suggest that galactic events help determine when North America is or isn't buried under immense sheets of ice taller than skyscrapers.

But new research suggests that the coming and going of major ice ages might result partly from our solar system's passage through immense, snakelike clouds of exploding stars in the Milky Way galaxy.

Resembling the curved contrails of a whirling Fourth of July pinwheel, the Milky Way's spiral arms are clouds of stars rich in supernovas, or exploding stars. Supernovas emit showers of charged particles called cosmic rays.

Theorists have proposed that when our solar system passes through a spiral arm, the cosmic rays fall to Earth and knock electrons off atoms in the atmosphere, making them electrically charged, or ionized. Since opposite electrical charges attract each other, the positively charged ionized particles attract the negatively charged portion of water vapor, thus forming large droplets in the form of low-lying clouds.

In turn, the clouds cool the climate and trigger an ice age -- or so theorists suggest. [...]

I have just about finished reading Secret Societies of America's Elite: From the Knights Templar to Skull and Bones by Steven Sora and it may be a good place to start for those who want to begin examining this secret sphere.

It is a breezy run through of history, and not the type you get in the history text books. It is pretty plain that modern wealth was consolidated via the drug and slave trades. Many of the secret societies arose due to the fact that discrete connections were needed for pirates and smugglers.

These families then leveraged their power by inbreeding, investing in or starting more “respectable” businesses such as banking and insurance and entering politics.

They kept their power and wealth which they passed on to their descendants. So we are stuck to this day with these inbred descendants who will do anything to continue what is required to maintain and increase that wealth and power. Greed is a sickness.

Our lives are considered only a means to an end, and that end is their wish and greed fulfillment. Mass movements are hijacked, and that energy is always utilized toward a carefully guided end that they want.

We live in an entropic realm, and that power has to be constantly guarded or it declines. Every bit of knowledge that we gain about their activities is a decline. Those in power are afraid of us.

The Fundamental Christian fervor was utilized to usher in an age of genocide and violence. Fanatics are willing to kill or to be killed for some future glory that they have been told is theirs to be had for just believing. The fanatic's frustration is a tool.

Now we see that the US economy is being ruined and dollars are being funneled into a few corporations. More frustration which equals more fuel for elite aims.

The only guard against furthering our own destruction is knowledge, and then to creatively disperse that knowledge to those interested.

Hope lies in the individual willing to risk their own comfort zone and to peer into the darkness reporting back what they see.

We are slaves until we learn how not to be slaves.

Young Johnson had been seeing a psychiatrist but, when questioned as to the nature of his medication, if any, his attorney, Val Price, would say only, ”That is confidential information, and I don't want to comment on that.“

The crime America may never recover from, the studied and deliberate drowning of all five of her children by a mother in Texas, was performed under the influence of ”anti-depressants.“

So was the incredible stabbing murder of eight Japanese children in the first and second grades by a man on anti-depressants.

As was O.J. Simpson when the double murder many believe he committed occurred. Please understand I'm not reaching out for every verifiable case I can muster so I can stuff this sausage to make it seem convincingly fat. Quite the opposite. I have not found ONE single case of irrational, motivationless killing that did not include some kind of mind-tampering drug.[...]

The above photo was taken a number of years ago. Before it was illegal to snap photos in the NYC subway. I would no more point a camera at any landmark or US infrastructure than run from a cop these days.

As you well know, stupid terrorists need to take photos and act like tourists before they can fulfill their terrorist duties.

Obviously, the neocon agenda is working.

Now there are spot checks on the subway.

A few more terrorist attacks anywhere, and soon the populace will be whipped into such a frenzy that we will be turning each other in to the gestapo. In the meantime, anyone of darker skin color will do.

Most of us really do want big brother to take care of us. A few innocents mixed in with the “usual suspects” is a small price to pay. Until you are one of the usual suspects.

One of the greatest pieces of propaganda in the history of propaganda may be Casablanca. All those desperate refugees seeking freedom in the new world, as brave, sacrificing people outwit the fascists painted such a lovely myth.

Now we are the fascists. And where is that free place to run to?

At least the usual suspects in the movie Casablanca, were not going to be tortured, sodomized and disappeared without charges.

My G5 iMac blew a power supply, putting me out of commission for a few days there. There is a handy diagnostic system built in, so in a few minutes I had the problem figured out, contacted Apple and they expressed shipped me a new one. Took me a bit of time to fit in, since the machine is packed pretty tight.

I haven't kept up with the blogsphere the last few days, so I am not completely aware of what is going around. I do know that the days of the internet as we know it are numbered:

Tom Waits was on to something there. We are surrounded in misery. War, poisoning, corruption, psychopaths run amok, earth upheavals, freedoms stripped down to nothing, control, control, control.

Many of us have struggled mightily to avoid accepting the simple fact that misery is indeed the river of the world, and hence have squandered our real power.

This post is not a complete downer, just bear with me as I work out my hypothesis.

A lot of us have wanted to believe that god is in heaven, and all is well with the world. In a twisted sense, perhaps that is the case. Suffering is an aspect of our reality that cannot be avoided. Deep within us, perhaps there is a terrible and strong desire to be cared for and herded. Told what to do. Thinking for ourselves is hard.

Entropy is the naturally ensuing state of the domesticated.

We are domesticated animals looking for a shepherd. To be a good flock we have to believe our shepherd. To admit the shepherd lies, or starts immoral wars opens reality in a way that can be rather uncomfortable.

Creation is a struggle. Bringing to life something from nothing is hard. Seeking the truth is hard. The truth is the only worthy building blocks of our creations. Everything else collapses when coming into contact for too long with reality.

Too many of us have bought the philosophy of control. We waste precious energy in meager attempts to control reality rather than just facing the truth. We are experiencing a mirror of our own subconscious desires writ large and expressed by a complete maniac. A whole host of complete maniacs, really.

To create is a struggle. Life is a struggle. Most of us struggle against struggle - actually struggling against life, rather than fully engaging in the struggle with life. Or so I think.

I am just trying to figure out this life thing. The big questions.

We have this narrow window, or so it seems, before the complete darkness descends. The Bush Reich and cohorts are pushing for complete control of everything. So many of us, deep down and unknown even to ourselves, believe that control is the means to remove anxiety and suffering. Because we fear our own mortality, rather than befriending our mortality. We still believe in saviors.

Saved from what? Suffering, is my guess. We have such a high opinion of ourselves that we believe we should be removed from all suffering. We believe that we should never have to experience the consequences of our own actions and reactions, thoughts and beliefs.

That is insanity. What is even more insane is that many of us love our suffering so much we refuse to give it up.

Suffering is a part of life. Then you should get tired of it.

Seek to learn from our personal experiences and the lessons of history, and seek to avoid it. But, it seems we are doomed to repeat history.

We struggle against life instead of fully engaging in life - both the sorrows and the joys. We seem to prefer mediocre domestication where not too much happens, and are outraged when life intercedes.

Now we have a Reich to contend with.

The only recourse against entropy is creation. I think we live in an open universe. Who knows what can happen when individuals begin to create using the building blocks of truth?

No one. And the Bush Reich and company are scared of exactly that. That is why such an extensive control system is being put into place.

They are scared of you.

You are the enemy to their greed and control fantasies.

Just by telling the truth, and seeking for the truth to the best of our abilities.

Syria and Iran know they are in the cross hairs of the Bush Regime, and al-Qaeda decides to flame the fire. If you are racist and think that all Muslims are ignorant, rabid fundamentalists then it makes sense.

Who wants war? Are there still enough of us who believe they hate us “because of our freedoms”? Those freedoms will disappear even more quickly now. We must be protected from those crazy fundamentalists.

Report: Mossad behind destroying London Israeli embassy in 1994

The British daily “The Independent” on Thursday unveiled important information on spying attempts made by the Israeli Mossad and operations targeting the destruction of Israeli embassies abroad.

In an article published on Thursday and quoted by the BBC, the paper added that the person who is accused of being behind the bombing of the Israeli embassy in London in 1994, Rida Maghribi, was an agent recruited by the Mossad and was assigned by Israeli foreign intelligence for that purpose.

The paper added that behind such an act, Israel was seeking to distort the image of the Palestinians in Britain and the western countries. However, this new Mossad scandal unveiled by the British paper is added to several similar scandals dogging the Mossad in Switzerland, Cyprus and Germany involving spying against the interests of these countries and on Lebanese and Palestinian resistance forces.

Netanyahu happened to be in London:

Minister of Finance Benjamin Netanyahu was close to one of the bomb blasts in London. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon called Netanyahu to see if he was all right...

It is so heartwarming to know that the US considers the physically challenged and women who have had mastectomies as terrorists to keep me safe. It may mean that the poor woman mentioned in the article above is held for four hours until she finally relents. But, hey, if she didn't have anything to hide, she wouldn't resist.

At some stage an-Ni'ami seems to have been efficiently knee-capped. It was not done with a gun - the exit wounds are identical in size to the entry wounds, which would not happen with a bullet. Instead it appears to have been done with something like a drill.

What actually killed him however were the bullets fired into his chest at close range, probably by someone standing over him as he lay on the ground. The last two hit him in the head.

The gruesome detail is important. Hanging by the arms in cuffs, scorching of the body with something like an iron and knee-capping are claimed to be increasingly prevalent in the new Iraq. Now evidence is emerging that appears to substantiate those claims. Not only Iraqis make the allegations. International officials describe the methods in disgusted but hushed tones, laying them at the door of the increasingly unaccountable forces attached to Iraq's Ministry of the Interior. [...]

Despite his country's having recklessly downed a passenger airliner while operating inside Iran's territorial waters, Vice President George Bush declares a month later: “I will never apologize for the United States of America, ever. I don't care what the facts are.”

Independent investigations into the events have presented a different picture [than the official story]. John Barry and Roger Charles, of Newsweek, wrote that Commander Rogers acted recklessly and without due care.

Their report further accused the U.S. government of a cover-up. An analysis of the events by the International Strategic Studies Association described the deployment of an Aegis cruiser in the zone as irresponsible and felt that the expense of the ship had played a major part in the setting of a low threshold for opening fire.

On November 6, 2003 the International Court of Justice concluded that the U.S. Navy's actions in the Persian Gulf at the time had been unlawful.

Three years after the incident, Admiral William Crowe admitted on Nightline that the Vincennes was inside Iranian territorial waters at the time of the shoot down. This directly contradicted the official Navy claims of the previous years.

Throughout its final flight IR655 was in radio contact with various air traffic control services using standard civil aviation frequencies, and had spoken in english to Bandar Abbas Approach Control seconds before Vincennes launched its missiles. Vincennes at that time had no equipment suitable for monitoring civil aviation frequencies, other than the International Air Distress frequency, despite being a sophisticated anti-aircraft warship. Subsequently U.S. Navy warships in the area were equipped with dialable VHF radios, and access to flight plan information was sought, to better track commercial airliners.

There is nothing quite like the feeling of being a citizen of a rogue nation by the sheer accident of birth.

Has the Bush administration drastically understated the U.S. military death count by redefining “death”? The following article suggests that it has, and it calls for a nationwide campaign to honor deceased service members by naming and counting them.

According to the article: “...DoD lists currently being very quietly circulated indicate almost 9,000 [U.S. military] dead”; this far exceeds the “official” death count of 1,831. How can this be? It's largely because “U.S. Military Personnel who died in German hospitals or en route to German hospitals have not previously been counted.”

In other words, “death” has been redefined...

Hypnosis, Belief, Fear, Creativity

I found this book cover so strange, that I had to share. What does this woman have to do with auto-suggestion? I have no clue. She is not the author, she is not the person whose work this book discusses, nor did she write the forward. I have no plans on actually reading the book, to see if the mystery of the completely unrelated cover is expounded upon.

I merely borrowed it from a book store in the neighborhood, having good relations with the owner, and will promptly return it once done with this entry. As it stands now, the cover makes a good case for not embarking upon the adventure of auto-suggestion.

Wikipedia says:

Autosuggestion is a process by which an individual trains the subconscious mind to believe something, or systematically schematizes the person's own mental associations, usually for a given purpose. This is accomplished through self-hypnosis methods or repetitive, constant self-affirmations, and may be seen as a form of self-induced brainwashing. The acceptance of autosuggestion may be quickened through mental visualization of that which the individual would like to believe. Its success is typically correlated with the consistency of its use and the length of time over which it is used. Autosuggestion can be seen as an aspect of prayer, self-exhorting “pep talks,” meditation, and other similar activities. A trivial example of self-improvement by autosuggestion is the New Year's resolution, especially if it is followed up by systematic attention to the resolution.

I prefer to confront my beliefs and quirks head-on, eschewing such short cuts like self-hypnosis. I figure we are all hypnotized enough as it is. Belief is the enemy. Best to root it out, confront it, and throw it away if possible.

There are all kinds of gimmicks sold in order to change ourselves. It is almost an impossible task to actually change ourselves with brute force. Instead, I prefer the more mild observation over time approach. Don't judge or belittle the self, just the disinterested scientist, saying things like, “Hmm that's interesting.” Interacting with others is when we expose our quirks and beliefs, so neither do I think that creative types should hole themselves up in order to unleash their creative genius upon the world.

Bertrand Russell said, “The experience of overcoming fear is extraordinarily delightful.” If you could actually succeed in hypnotizing the fear out of your self, just think of all the fun you will have missed. Fear and social conformity hinder the creative spark and there are some recent articles that expound on the issue:

That vulnerability is social conformity. Choosing a groups version of truth despite it being evident that it is not the truth:

An interesting article, regarding morality and the creative genius, yet the author leans a bit too heavily on the great religion encourages creativity bit. Look at some of the great cathedrals, and it becomes obvious to those who study such things that non-Christian symbolism has been slipped past the censorious over-lords. Morality needs to be personally wrestled with, rather than just taking dictates from a hierarchy.

My stomach cannot endure listening to Bush speak, and always wait to read about it the next day. Here is a very good distillation of his monkey-speak.

I have quoted this before, but the ramifications are so astounding that enough attention cannot be drawn to the incredible hubris portrayed here:

The Bush Cult

First, the top Bush insider mocked the journalist and all those “in what we call the reality-based community,” i.e., people who “believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.” Suskind's attempt to defend the principles of reason and enlightenment cut no ice with the Bush-man. “That's not the way the world really works anymore. We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality,” he said. “And while you're studying that reality, we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors ... and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”

With wishful thinking and hubris in such large measures, this regime will reveal themselves to the world. More and more people are seeing that this war on terror is bogus.

Surely, as self-appointed lords of the world and gods of reality, they think something must be done to convince us we must “stay the course”. They will try to create reality. A reality where we will believe that perpetual war and stripping of freedoms is the only option.

I am pretty sure it is impossible for them to imagine that a scheme of theirs could possibly fall apart, revealing the sound stage and cue cards.

Perhaps it will require an equal measure of wishful thinking and hubris on the observers part to still believe anything coming from this regime.

Perhaps it will require more energy to maintain the walls of belief now firmly ensconced, than to finally allow the truth and horror to sink in.

What each person decides to do with the truth, as an individual, is where we each discover if we are a lion or a mouse.

A while back, I proposed a new kind of blog award. The awards were dubbed the “Scratchies” by popular acclaim. That is, Jon said it and no one took enough offense to suggest something else. AWolf modified one of the categories to make it more indicative of real character. I'm adding one category today.

I am not sure which category I like most:

Bush's poll numbers are plummeting, US citizens are becoming fed up with the Iraq war in droves, the Downing Street memo is percolating into the public awareness despite the best efforts of mainstream media, and Rove is willing to risk more embarrassing gaffes and is shoving Bush onto the pulpit tomorrow.

The tipping point

US public opinion on the Iraq war dips with every dead soldier, and plummets at the first sniff of defeat

A lot of people are doing everything they can to make sure Bush can remain President for Life. If H. J. RES. 24 can't do the trick, there are alternatives:

Laura Bush for president?

Jeb Bush for president?

Both maintain the Bush crime family in power, but won't help if public outrage toward Bush is so loud that stealing yet another election will become too obvious. The same goes for this depressing explanation that, yes, he can “run” for election yet again:

More is Better

Those who figured, after this election, we would be rid of George W. Bush might want to think again. They are wrong: a third term can be had. The XXII Amendment is quite clear on this. George W. Bush has only been elected to the Presidency once. His first term he was appointed, not elected. And, during his first term, he was not sitting during part of some other President's term of office.

So, what's an evil crime family to do?

Stage yet another mass assassination of US citizens and blame it on Muslim Fundamentalists of course. Sure we have made it tougher on them, and we have honed our research skills with 9/11. More people now know just what these psychopaths are capable of doing, and are less willing to absorb their lies. Despite their best COINTELPRO attempts, many know the truth.

This does not matter to these people. They are full of hubris, think they can pull off yet another stunt, and finish the job of taking away every last vestige of freedom - “to make us safer”.

This nightmare is not going to go away anytime soon.

Keep a blank tape in the VCR, stay away from major landmarks and brace yourself.

The Newspaper Game

And so begins one of the great movies of all time, His Girl Friday. I noticed that the last couple of posts have concerned movies so I thought I would continue the trend.

I watched the movie again for the third or fourth time last night. The laughs come fast and quick throughout, and who couldn't use a good laugh.

I sat up, smoking the last cigarette of the evening and suddenly I was filled with disgust and loathing that was in such direct contradiction to the previous feelings engendered by Howard Hawks' classic move that it almost hurt.

These feelings were directed, of course, toward what are commonly referred to as journalists. At least that is what these parasites of humanity like to refer to themselves as, but really they should more properly refer to themselves as White House PR hacks.

That seems to be an unstated motto for American media coverage of the Iranian presidential election. The axiom comes down to: “Don’t let history get in the way of spin.”

Evasion smoothes the way to the next war.

For maximum propaganda effect, the agenda-setting must be decoupled as much as possible from clear truths -- about the current president’s mendacity in connection with Iraq, and about the record of U.S. government actions toward Iran.

While a seriously discredited President Bush strains to do damage control about his past lies and present machinations on Iraq, the U.S. media coverage typically presents his statements about Iran without so much as a whiff of suspicion. A proven liar is treated like a presumptive truth-teller. [...]

Just a couple of examples of the media's complicit silence in so many topics. Downing Street Memo anyone? This state of affairs has been ongoing for generations. Let us not forget that the New York Times buried the initial stories of concentration camps previous to WWII, thinking that rounding up people, enslaving and gassing them as not front page worthy news.

What motivates these people? Do they have a feeling for the truth, but are cowed by such examples like Gary Webb? Or, are they so fixated on appearing not to have an opinion, and the maxim that sometimes you can only reach the objective via the subjective too much of a paradox for them? Are they attempting to protect themselves from the truth just like nearly everyone else? Are they trying to protect a paycheck?

Perhaps my disgust should be directed toward the editors, who surely do their best to constrain and hinder any truth leaked to the public.

The media's complicity in the crimes against nature is becoming more and more evident every day. Their silence speaks volumes on just how corrupt our system really is.

Their silence says they like blood, death, torture, maiming, poisoning, war and hell on earth. I am not sure why they would think they will be preserved from it themselves as they sacrifice their soul to cover up or play down the Bush Regime's crimes.

Beware: Ensuing Spoiler for Batman Begins

I found the movie Batman Begins entertaining in a bleak sort of way. The League of Shadows was an interesting foe. A bunch of hyper active men hidden away in a remote mountain top in Mongolia(?), watching the evolution of man from afar; interceding through out history when they deemed humankind became too degenerate; wrapping their dark agenda in mystical and pseudo-religious terms.

They decide when to swoop in and destroy, never recognizing they are only honoring the dark path of entropy rather than creativity. If they would stop jumping around and doing their high kicks, and think a bit perhaps they wouldn't be so full of spiritual arrogance. They obviously get off on power, but make themselves feel better by burying the mayhem with a new-age wrapper. They like to play god, but never bothered to ask themselves that despite centuries of intervention why is humanity no better off.

So many people want to save the world, yet they can't seem to save themselves. Or worse yet, they want to save you. Of course, they know what's best for you. How many Christians dig the same philosophy as The League of Shadows? They can read god's mind and seek to fulfill its agenda, which always seems to involve a good bit of destruction and mayhem.

The whole super hero mythology could be said to be an expression of humanities desire for a savior. The savior desire sure has been used throughout history to control us. We all want it easy. The phrase, “Know thyself”, portends more difficulty than the simple sentence structure belies.

The movie reminded me of a book I read years ago:

Zombies are George Romero's specialty, and he's about to unleash them for the first time in 20 years. Interview with George Romero:

[...] His zombie sagas, which also include the critically lauded 1979 masterpiece “Dawn of the Dead” (the remake of which was a hit last year), are splatter-happy and sweat-inducing survival dramas, but, as Romero says modestly, he likes “to throw in some observations about what's going on in the world.”

“Night” evoked Vietnam-era bloodshed and, with its black male lead trapped in a farmhouse, echoed civil rights hysteria. “Dawn” poked fun at soul-deadening consumerism. And “Day” addressed ethics in science. With “Land,” Romero tackles issues of safety and boundaries, showing a community fortifying itself against a murderous horde while its wealthiest keep alive class divisions separating them from the powerless.

“It's the folly of saying, 'Everything's OK, don't worry about it,' ” says Romero, who wrote “Land” before the events of Sept. 11. Its focus then was about “ignoring social ills, setting up a synthetic sense of comfort.”

He says he didn't have to tweak it much to reflect new fears of terrorism. When told that it's hard not to think of Iraq watching an armored car of trigger-happy humans roll through a zombiefied suburb shooting anything they see, Romero smiles. “That's one of the things I put in there afterward.” [...]

I have resisted delving too much into the strange here. But the lid is off, and a lot more people are examining ideas that seem to confirm the underlying structure of not only our civilization, but of our entire reality, are much stranger than we can even begin to imagine.

The main problem with researching into these areas is that there are so many smoke screens and misdirections. Psyops is well prepared for the new and the experienced investigator.

One word that is bantered around a lot today is cult. The murderous events at Waco sealed the general publics conception and definition of a cult. It is my theory that this was a deliberate psyop to direct attention away from the elite's own terrifying and baroque cults. Once again we are taught to fear the “little people” and look away from the machine that is trying to grind us all down. (See the documentary, “Waco - The Rules of Engagement”, William Gazecki)

The Nine, as referenced in the quote above, are channeled entities who call themselves space gods. Their message seems to me rather racist regarding those not “white” and takes umbrage toward the Islamic faith. it speaks of a chosen people, and talks of an imminent apocalypse as a genetic “house cleaning”.

Sound familiar? It should. It's pretty close to the Old Testament, that other piece of channeled literature primarily about one of the world's most famous and violent extraterrestrials and various believers direct interaction with ET.

The quote at the beginning of this post expresses horror at just who holds the messages from the space gods dear. You wouldn't believe some of the people named in the Stargate Conspiracy. One in particular may hurt the feelings of some fans of a particularly popular sci-fi series.

Telling people they are special and chosen seems to work every time. We are such suckers. A lot of people believed it when Yahweh told them, and to this day we are fighting wars over who is more special and chosen, and what chunk of land belongs to these special people as promised by something not human.

A chunk of the Nine's message is contained in the book entitled The Keys of Enoch. More from the Stargate Conspiracy:

The Keys of Enoch is a ...self-consciously religious work... Subtitled A Teaching Given on Seven Levels To Be Read and Visualized In Preparation for the Brotherhood of Light To be Delivered for the Quickening of the 'People of Light.“ ...It even looks like a Bible with the Hebrew letters for Yahweh - YHWH - embossed in gold on its white-and-gold cover, and its text displayed in two columns and divided into short numbered verses. This book evidently believes itself to be very holy, very sacred, taking itself extremely seriously indeed. The sixty-four 'Keys' of spiritual wisdom, covering all aspects of ethics and history, are presented in resounding quasi-Biblical language, although it is virtually impenetrable.

Supposedly something has gone wrong with human being's genetic programming and these space gods are to eventually arrive on earth to clean and purge, and set everything aright. It seems our genetics are causing disturbances throughout the universe. [...]

Could this immensely complex scheme, extending over many years and involving hundreds, perhaps thousands of people, really have originated with extraterristrials? Is this evidence of a clever long-term plan from nonhuman intelligences, such as the Nine? Tempting though such a scenario may appear, the fact remains that there is a large degree of involvement - and obvious orchestration - by clandestine government agencies. Although these two hypotheses seem contradictory, there is another option. Are the shadowy presences of the intelligence agencies and the nonhuman intelligences not, as they may seem, mutually exclusive, but actually an alliance?

One thing is certain: the Nine have had an influence on a huge variety of prime movers...

Indeed. I will repeat for emphasis: the Nine incites believers to look forward to an apocalypse which will result in a ”genetic housecleaning“. Believers, of course, will be saved from the atrocity, because they are special.

I recommend the Stargate Conspiracy, although I don't necessarily agree with all their conclusions. I also think they don't go far enough, and pull back a bit from the true horror of it all. But, the book was written in 1999, before the day that changed the whole world. The authors do a good job of sorting through an incredible complicated maze.

These ”prime movers“ mentioned are surely feeding and utilizing the US Fundamentalist Christian movement who have similar core tenets, who in turn are doing everything they can to fund Zionistic purging of the Palestinians, who in turn are inciting war in the Middle East to distract attention and to hinder any retaliation from surrounding countries. A vicious circle, with probable blurring at the top as to who believes what, or if not true believers, than utilizing beliefs for their own reasons, and we are caught in the middle.

Don't believe in ”space gods“? You may be in the minority on the planet.

The media is playing a little game. They publish skeptics and debunkers of the UFO and ”space brother“ memes, and at the same time are consistently publishing tracts that we should accept our space brother overlords. We have an elite creating a problem, perpetual war and misery, and the solution that may be proffered may be accepting space brothers because we are too ignorant to sort out our problems ourselves.

That sounds pretty ridiculous to me, but there seems to be enough evidence that forces me to consider it as a probability.

Depopulation part 3

Someone posted a comment on another blog regarding my Kissinger quote on part 1 of this series. I have been a bit busy of late, so I did not get a change to respond there, so I will respond briefly to the comments as a whole now.

The quote: “Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.”- Henry Kissinger

The basic gist of the commentary was that the context of the quote needs to be considered. The context being that we need to help those poor third worlders get their rampant population under control. The commentary went on to say that this sounds reasonable.

Perhaps it does at first. We are all assaulted with those awful and terrifying images of poor, starving children with extended bellies and flies crawling all over their face. Everyone but a psychopath would be moved by such startling images and the awful suffering they portray.

Although, perhaps we in the west have become immune to such imagery. We have almost gotten used to the fact that those poor Africans live in appalling conditions and ignorance.

If we searched no further than the vague recitations of famine from the nightly talking head, then we might think bad luck. Or we might process vague racist notions about Africans who just can't seem to pull themselves together.

We may not endorse such atrocious pseudo science like The Bell Curve, but we may not be aware that endorsing such awful talk of Kissinger saying we need to help those Africans “depopulate” is equally, if not a more subtle, racism fueled entirely by our ignorance.

How come Africa cannot seem to help themselves?

Thinking the Unthinkable - World Violence as a Solution to Overpopulation and Resource Collapse

Keep in mind that it was only about a century ago that Native Americans were being systematically exterminated - to provide room for capitalist expansion. We may tend to blame it on some kind of wild-west pioneer mentality, but to the land speculators, the railroad builders, and the east-coast bankers, it was a fully-conscious program of business expansion through genocide. I ran across a confidential letter written by Thomas Jefferson, for example, in which he gave advice to an official about how the natives could be most efficiently killed off (it had to do with encouraging them to get into debt.)

Let's look at some of the things the West, especially the US, is doing in African countries such as Rwanda and many of its neighbours. First of all, the IMF has systematically destroyed the economies - in some cases utterly. From this cause alone, large-scale famines began. Then civil strife 'arose'. Indeed strife did 'arise' out of the abysmal economic conditions - but it was helped along with a strong push from US military advisors, and with shiploads of modern Western armaments.

The training emphasis was on 'security operations', which translates into the creation of death-squad militias, much like those in East Timor - which were also US trained. Out of these Western-sponsored civil-wars, further genocide occurred, partly from increased famine due to disorder, and partly from slaughter. No massive 'humanitarian' intervention effort was considered, I suggest, because what was happening is exactly what was intended to happen - genocide _is the fundamental agenda being carried out! Hence the corporate global media simply reports these events as unfortunate, unavoidable, due to ancient ethnic hatreds or droughts, etc. etc.

Another thing the IMF and World Bank are doing is dismantling health-care facilities in these parts of Africa. Under IMF structural requirements, the budget for health care is limited to something on the order of $3 per person per year. A new 'philosophy' of health care has been adopted. Under this philosophy professional health care is seen as being an 'elite institution', and the population instead is to depend on untrained lay people to provide their care. Of these events, the elite media is simply silent. [...]

Improve a populations wealth, stability and education and the birth rate drops. If we left Africa alone, stopped supporting dictators, and stopped forcing Africans to grow exports for the wealthy western world so that they could grow food for their own population than their would not be so much chaos and entropy there. To think otherwise is racist.

For Kissinger to discuss depopulation, and make it sound like he is some benevolent force in the world is just an ingenious tactic that whore uses to cover up the crimes of his masters. He is neglecting to mention what brought about the incredible suffering because he works for the people that deliberately and calculatingly brought it about.

US in Africa: Partnership or Pillage?

Alarming reports about the specter of famine in the Horn of Africa have recently resurfaced in the media. The culprit, we are told, is insufficient rainfall. But while a drought might ruin harvests, mass starvation cannot be blamed on the weather. Famine is caused by grossly disparate access to resources; yet the idea of famine in Africa as “natural” disaster persists as part of a broader web of images.

Africa is a diverse continent three times the size of the United States with over 50 countries and 3,000 languages. But it is consistently portrayed in the US as a monolithic mass of primitive tribal wars, disaster, disease and death. The images are so pervasive that it's difficult to discuss African social and political problems without triggering the “dark continent” myths that everyone in the US ingests.

Part of what makes these images so powerful is that they are presented to us without explanation, as though chaos and suffering were the natural condition of Africans. Only when we extend the picture of African “victims” to include their victimizers, can we begin to see a schematic of cause and effect; of actual people and policies that create and maintain the poverty, violence and disease that appear endemic to Africa. The end of the Cold War was like taking the lid off a pressure cooker in Africa. The interest of the big powers evaporated, creating a vacuum which shattered weak states and exploded long-simmering civil conflicts in Rwanda, Somalia, Liberia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Burundi, Sudan, Sierra Leone and Zaire (renamed Democratic Republic of Congo, or DRC, in 1997).

The US built much of the arsenals for these wars with $227 million worth of weapons and military training since 1989. Today, the biggest war in African history is raging in the DRC, where the Pentagon has trained or armed eight of the nine warring countries. Most African militaries now receive US training through President Clinton's African Crisis Response Initiative (ACRI), which pushes even more weapons sales on these countries. The program is couched in a language of self-determination, with slogans like “African solutions to African problems.” But in reality, it serves to beef up those African forces that will protect US interests, while avoiding a direct US military presence. ACRI also sidelines multi-lateral peacekeeping efforts of the United Nations, which may not match US priorities. [...]

Schmitz makes it clear in his book Thank God They're on Our Side: the United States and Right-Wing Dictatorships that Washington's support for rightwing dictators during the Cold War was a continuation, an elongation and an intensification of a policy developed during the early part of the century. That policy placed the fear of communism, socialism, and the spread of disorder as the centerpiece of its formulation. [...]

The new policy was initiated by the Hoover administration, and taken up and “completed” during the succeeding Roosevelt administration. By 1934 all American troops had been withdrawn from Latin America, except for those at the military and naval bases maintained in Panama and in Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. The financial supervision of Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua was phased out between 1936 and 1940.

Washington relinquished, at least on paper, its right to intervene. For direct forms of dominance, it substituted indirect ones, reminiscent of but less formal than those employed in British indirect rule in Africa. Central to this new scheme was support-economic, military and diplomatic-for local autocrats-for their currencies, their national constabularies, and their personal greed. In return, these autocrats suppressed local communists and radicals, protected American business, and performed other favors when called upon to do so.

The good neighbor policy and the Root doctrine not only accomplished the same essential goals, but the latter was generally more cost effective and presented a smoother surface. No need to invade to change unwanted regimes. Better to support the local military that would make the changes for you. [...]

Personally, I am overwhelmed by the crimes of the elite. To organize and to somehow give a brief insight into the sheer audacity and complexity of these crimes; to sort through the mountainous amount of data regarding these monsters chills me to the bone.

I do not judge anyone for their ignorance, unless it is a willful act. We all have been held in “their” sway and power at one time or another.

Until we got sick and said enough.

By referring to racism in this post, I do not mean to belittle anyone. Calling names is not necessarily helpful, and I do believe plenty of “good” people have picked up racist ideas almost subliminally from our shitty media. The only way to get rid of these concepts is to begin to gain a glimmer of the agenda and why these thoughts, that may not be our own, are lodged there.

Bruce makes an excellent point in his comment:

...well, as John Prine sings on his new album, “some humans ain't human, some people ain't kind.”...

I usually figure that by the time I have managed to figure something out, most must already know about it. But, I am not sure most are aware just how extensive and pervasive the psychopathic problem really is. So, before delving into the occult and high strangeness, I will take Bruce's prompt and make some quick notes about the world of the psychopath.

It is as if the more evolved the species, the more evolved the predator becomes. The major predator for human beings happens to look exactly like us, but inside they resemble little if anything most would call human:

The [psychopath] is unfamiliar with the primary facts or data of what might be called personal values and is altogether incapa- ble of understanding such matters. It is impossible for him to take even a slight interest in the tragedy or joy or the striving of humanity as presented in serious literature or art. He is also in- different to all these matters in life itself.

Beauty and ugliness, except in a very superficial sense, goodness, evil, love, horror, and humour have no actual meaning, no power to move him. He is, furthermore, lacking in the ability to see that others are moved. It is as though he were colour-blind, despite his sharp in-telligence, to this aspect of human existence. It cannot be ex-plained to him because there is nothing in his orbit of awareness that can bridge the gap with comparison. He can repeat the words and say glibly that he understands, and there is no way for him to realize that he does not understand. [Ibid]

Psychopaths appear to be excellent tools to fulfill the bizarre agenda of depopulation. Incapable of projecting their actions into the future, they can't see that they are killing off their food supply. They also can not conceptualize that a basic Machiavelli trick may apply to them: kill off those who perform the dirty tricks for you. Although, The Prince appears to be the basic handbook.

They are only capable of existing as parasites. If everyone had realized the truth of their existence, actually coped with the fact that something so horrible existed and resisted their tricks and cunning they would have died of starvation long ago - never to trouble the human gene pool again.

Here is as good a place as any to mention one of the core aspects of my personal philosophy: never act against another, instead defend one's own destiny, however that destiny may be defined by the individual. (Choose your own philosophy, or one will be chosen for you. It is said nature abhors a vacuum.)

Psychopathy has been one of those half-secrets. The word is often on the tip of everyone's tongue, yet the usual image conjured up is the serial killer.

The truth is far more insidious. Very likely one may be a member of our extended family, a neighbor, a lover, a friend or a boss.

They may not be killers or torturers, yet are cunning manipulators who seem to cast a spell over others and hold them under their power. Cleckley mentions that they seem nearly irresistible to the opposite sex. (Or as it has been increasingly revealed in the neo-con world, irresistible to the same sex.)

Western civilization has been twisted and distorted to reward psychopathic behavior, and has made it an adaptive tactic for success. I highly recommend the documentary The Corporation.

Most psychopaths learn how to not get caught, or do not break the law in a brazen manner. Notice how the Bush Reich has the law rewritten, or has pseudo legal papers drawn up stating the Geneva conventions do not apply so proceed with torture.

We will understand very little of what is going on the world stage right now, unless we understand the inner landscape of the psychopath. It is bleak and troubling to study the subject, but it is a bit late to flinch now. I have included some suggestions for further research for those interested:

Depopulation

So Harry comments:

There is good reason to believe that the ruling elites favor a cull. I think they've given up on trying to solve things rationally and wish we would all just go away.

After reading his comment, I wanted to run around the room in circles, pulling on my hair, yelling, “Noooo, I don't want to go there. It's too weird and crazy. It's too complicated. It is too nefarious.”

I am aware of the depopulation agenda, and have been dancing around the subject here for sometime. So many of us are addicted to what someone other than themselves have defined as “reasonable”. The evidence shows that the power elite are not so limited, and this handy mind virus has kept us all in the dark and made us easily exploitable. In fact, keep digging, and it begins to appear that what has been defined as reasonable was created by these elite to cloak their dark, occult agenda.

Usually, I prefer to stick to the more philosophical, rather than the specific. Plenty of sites deliver specifics of the conspiratorial nature of our reality. Not so many detail how we played a part in allowing psychopathic control freaks conspire against life loving humans. I think it may be due to our lack of understanding of the fundamental nature of reality.

We embraced others useless and harmful synaptic structures; we were never aware that there are more options in life rather than the usual binary choices provided. That there are those who are orientated toward creativity and those orientated toward entropy, and it is up to each of us as individuals to consciously choose which end of the scale we want to work toward. Perhaps the default is entropy. It sure looks that way now, doesn't it? It is always easier to destroy rather than to create.

We all have some responsibility in allowing the predators to overwhelm the ecosystem, and they plan on consuming everything. Lies work because we want to believe them. Our reality is a brutal and ugly one full of torture, mutilation and rape. Those of us who have managed to avoid the worst of it, and overlook the aspects we haven't can not seem to stare reality in the face without flinching.

A few caveats: If you like so called “smoking gun” evidence, than that could be construed as a character flaw. You probably won't find it delving into the murky underworld of crimes against nature committed by the elite. You can only assign probabilities. Most of the time research can only turn up the outward manifestations of these crimes, and the true nature and extent has to be extrapolated.

The mass media has infiltrated our mind and subconscious far more than we like to admit. The term conspiracy theory and those that write about such things have images defined in our minds by the mass media. These images have helped cover up many a crime, or so I think.

Obsession is bad. You see it often enough in NWO websites, or in the likes of certain conspiracy researchers like Icke or Cooper. It is easy to become fixated on one aspect, or to react in horror and begin an outrageous course of action. Or worse yet, fall for a false lead injected into your environment, as in Icke's case. I think it is better to just focus on seeing. A fine tuned observer has an effect on the environment in non-linear ways I think.

Before studying conspiracy, it is helpful to understand how COINTELPRO or PsyOp works. There are so many smoke screens, blinds, double, and triple reverse psychological tricks that it takes a long time and a lot of research to understand the flavor of such activities and to easily spot them. And even then, it is probably not a good to idea to say case closed.

Often there are screens or crimes that are leaked to the public and everyone is lead down the merry garden path and much talk is generated that leads no where. It is all rather discouraging.

It was already too late by the time someone got around to publicly declaring such potentiality. Such talk soon grew dim in a public awareness that is easily distracted by updated vaudeville acts and quick to work toward treasurers in the after life. Most had little knowledge to place such a statement in context anyway.

There may be one over arching conspiracy that could possibly be gleaned from myths. A code left by our ancestors to warn us. Maybe.

The bad guys think they are the good guys. The bad guys aren't always following the same agenda, but often assassinate each other and work at cross purposes. We are all the bad guys unless we choose otherwise, and are aware enough to not fall for what ever bill of goods “they” try to sell us. Ignorance and prejudice are not good excuses. Ego seems to get us in trouble. I have seen it often enough, as someone identifies with some piece of research and can't see further or open up to different possibilities.

Some playing this depopulation card think they are trying to save the earth. Many are big in the new age/occult shenanigans, and have played extensive roles in establishing new religions. Control and destruction are their means to achieve their ends. It is all they know. Some would consider themselves environmentalists.

There is one small problem with their agenda, and it may be their downfall. It is the ultimate in hubris to think that one can control any aspect of the universe, or so I think.

I will disagree slightly with Harry, or rather seek to clarify. It is not that they are tired of us or that this mysterious elite ever sought to solve anything rationally. This elite creates the problem and then offers the solution. Their so called “solutions” continually increases their control.

9/11 is an excellent example of their tactics. The attacks, which an increasing body of evidence shows required inside help, and was not a bunch of terrorists organized from a remote cave, are being used to create perpetual war. More problems, and more “solutions”. More terrorist attacks and less freedom.

After all these caveats, I guess it is time to edge toward the specific. This will require delving into high strangeness. Let's get something straight - The elite are FREAKS.

[T]he concept of a white, blond-haired, blue-eyed master Nordic race didn't originate with Hitler. The idea was created in the United States, and cultivated in California, decades before Hitler came to power. California eugenicists played an important, although little-known, role in the American eugenics movement's campaign for ethnic cleansing.

Eugenics was the pseudoscience aimed at “improving” the human race. In its extreme, racist form, this meant wiping away all human beings deemed “unfit,” preserving only those who conformed to a Nordic stereotype. Elements of the philosophy were enshrined as national policy by forced sterilization and segregation laws, as well as marriage restrictions, enacted in 27 states. In 1909, California became the third state to adopt such laws. Ultimately, eugenics practitioners coercively sterilized some 60,000 Americans, barred the marriage of thousands, forcibly segregated thousands in “colonies,” and persecuted untold numbers in ways we are just learning. Before World War II, nearly half of coercive sterilizations were done in California, and even after the war, the state accounted for a third of all such surgeries.

California was considered an epicenter of the American eugenics movement. During the 20th century's first decades, California's eugenicists included potent but little-known race scientists, such as Army venereal disease specialist Dr. Paul Popenoe, citrus magnate Paul Gosney, Sacramento banker Charles Goethe, as well as members of the California state Board of Charities and Corrections and the University of California Board of Regents.

Lately, things have been a bit crazy. After Counterpunch posted an article I wrote critical of Mike Ruppert, I was drawn into an at times acrimonious email exchange. In order to protect the innocent (and guilty) I will not mention any names, but suffice it to say a few wild allegations were tossed around.

One allegation floating around is that Counterpunch, according to a guy connected to the 9/11 movement, Mark Robinowitz, is a COINTELPRO and CIA front. I found this assertion rather off-the-wall, to say the least. So I decided to do a bit of research, using Google, just to see what turned up...

Kurt Nimmo does an excellent job writing about the war crimes of the US and Israel. A few disagreements about 9/11 does not an COINTELPRO operative make.

It is important to remember here, dear readers, that all of this - all the duplicity, all the vitriol, all the slander and libel, all the attempted character assassinations (not just in this newsletter, but in #53, #54, and #56 as well) - has come about because of just a single posting that I put up on my website some three weeks ago. To those questions I now need to add another, equally important, question: Why is such a concerted effort being made to silence and discredit anyone who challenges the 'Peak Oil' theory?Mark Robinowitz, webmaster of OILEMPIRE.US has seen fit to create an entire page dedicated to discrediting Stanley Hilton and his lawsuit.

The Sue the Terrorist site primarily focuses on Stanley Hilton filing a, "$7 billion federal class action lawsuit against top Bush Administration officials for, among other things, their engineering and orchestrating the 911 attacks."

One would think that Robinowitz would think that fantastic, and such activity should be supported, because as Kurt Nimmo points out in the article I quoted first:

It appears the criteria used by Feldman and Robinowitz runs as follows: if a progressive publication or web site does not publish or post articles that say the attacks of September 11, 2001, were committed by Bush, Cheney, the neocons, the CIA, the military-industrial-complex, etc., then they are in the pocket of multinational corporations, the wealthy ruling class foundations, the CIA, secretive Yale fraternities, et al.

It also appears that Robinowitz goes around warning people about other high profile writers who point out the Bush administration's involvement in 9/11. Cryptogon writes:

Mark Robinowitz sent me a warning about John Kaminski. Honestly, I've only ever read Kaminski's Hallelujah In Fallujah essay. I didn't know about Kaminski's other antics. (Search page for Kaminski.) I don't follow the 9/11 disinformation operations too closely (because there's so much nonsense), but Robinowitz keeps track of most of it.

He sent me a similar warning regarding my link to the Pentagon Strike Video. The video has had such a huge response that the Washington Post covered it.

Few people do a better job of pointing out the obvious Bush Regime's connections to 9/11, US citizens complicity in allowing this murderous regime to conduct perpetual war for peace and Israeli government's crimes against humanity than John Kaminski.

Robinowitz presents himself as a 9/11 researcher (even while saying, that the real issue is peak oil), yet he picks strange targets to attack.

The Daily Heretic posted a comment to my original entry on this topic:

Yes, as a matter of fact, he is on a list I get copied on about 911. He seems sincere and reasonable until he starts pushing you towards Peak Oil or starts attacking the No Plane theory. It is interesting that those two issues are so important to him and to Ruppert. The No Plane theory is the single most powerful attack on the official story of 911, why take it away? Peak Oil, as you and Dave McGowan have shown, is a roundabout way of justifying the Iraq War and of deflecting attention from 911. Both Ruppert and Robinowitz have explicitly suggested that people move away from 911 and focus on Peak Oil, ignoring the fact that the only people reporting Peak Oil are people whose wealth and livelihood are tied to high oil prices. There are really no one else who has data about this. Doesn't mean they're wrong, but it does mean we should be very sceptical of Peak Oil.

Both Ruppert and Robinowitz also are very concerned that they don't alienate "average people" with crazy theories. At least that is the stance they assume when trying to marginalize 911 theories that get close to disturbing truths. "Beware of hoaxes," they say, but some of those hoaxes are more likely to be true than their "respectable" theories.

Robinowitz spends a lot of time attacking Jim Fetzer, who has written a book on the assassination of Senator Wellstone and who is a professor of Philosophy at the University of Minnesota. He uses the smear tactic of attacking a person for content that you get from sites linked on his website. Here is where it seems like psy ops. He compliments Fetzer on his book about Wellstone, then attributes its realiability to the editor, who, he says, will be coming out with a book with an interview with an "eyewitness" who saw a passenger plane hit the Pentagon!

Finally, he mentions John Judge favorably, whose credibility was pretty much destroyed by David McGowan...

To summarize: We have someone presenting themselves as a 9/11 researcher who then proceeds to say we need to dumb down the discussion for "average" people. Who proclaims we need to control research into this crime with peer review. Who goes around and attacks those who are doing something about the crime of the century. Who attacks those who intelligently write about other Bush Regime crimes, such as the assassination of Paul Wellstone. I have also been privately warned about other tactics that I will not discuss just yet.

So who is "snitch jacketing"?

I want to thank Harry over at Scratchings for posting the link to the peak oil article I will discuss below. The good people at Scratchings do a better job of pointing out the sheer ludicrous nature of the power hungry than I do. (The post Wheeeeeeeee! is but one example.)

If there is one thing a psychopathic control freak can't stand, it would be poking fun at their monkey antics. These control freaks take themselves very seriously. They can pretend to have a sense of humor, but to those who truly have a sense of humor it always comes off a bit forced. It's hard to hide the hate.

They take themselves so seriously, that they worry about things like racial purity. Of course, they consider themselves the pinnacle of creation. They can spend vast swaths of their lives making the case that they are at the top of the food chain, only to be ground to dust just like the rest of us. They just happen to leave behind poisonous literature, "science" and offspring to perpetuate the madness. They often leave a hefty body count in their wake.

To remain at the top of the food chain they devise all kinds of clever propaganda to justify murder and war. They have a real knack for getting all of us untouchables to do their dirty work. Peak oil may very well be the latest devious ploy:

Firstly, so that there’s no misunderstanding here, I am by no means advocating the unrestrained and wasteful use of oil or indeed any other energy source or primary product, but the fundamental issue here is not ‘running out of oil’ but the fact that it’s the advanced capitalist countries who have to alter their economies, whether we’re running out of oil or not. The Earth is after all bountiful but obviously not a bottomless pit of resources. As with food production, it’s not the amounts but the distribution that’s the crucial issue here.

In addition, it has to be said that the entire history of the development of technology shows that we continually achieve the same or better results with less; less materials, less energy, less labour and so forth. It should come as no surprise then that the ‘peak oil’ disinformation campaign comes along at just the ‘right time’ for the imperium, hovering as it is on the edge of economic meltdown. [...]

Let us not forget that it was the USA that was the first industrialized nation to enact racial purification laws. Certain doctors in Michigan and Massachusetts got real excited about castrating young boys and mental patients they deemed "unfit".

If my memory serves, the Nazis claimed during the Nuremberg trials that they got the idea for human testing from the US deliberately infecting prisoners with malaria.

But of course, it gets worse...much worse. Those who like to believe in what is "reasonable" should skip merrily away:

Founded in 1881 by American humanitarian Clara Barton, the American Red Cross (officially named The American National Red Cross) was first chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1900. The Dulles Brothers, who openly professed John D. Rockefeller’s racial hygiene doctrines, later directed the U.S. military’s Office of Strategic Services (OSS) and after World War II, the CIA. Charles B. Davenport constructed the Cold Spring Harbor facility to provide a home for racial hygiene research, what was then called “eugenics research.” The first racial hygiene laws in the world evolved from investigations and reports issued from here. The above facts are easily checked. The rest of the article covers more murky territory, and is really only for the more conspiratorially minded who can sort through such stuff. Most people's eyes glaze over when the word Illuminati is tossed around. The article also contains links to such articles like "Tetrahedron" and "Prophecy & Preparedness", so be warned.

My philosophy is to believe nothing, and only assign probabilities which can easily be amended as more data is obtained. I have always liked the following quote from Kafka:

On August 14, at 9 PM, Israeli television station, Channel Ten, broke all convention and exposed the ugliest secret of Israel's Labor Zionist founders; the deliberate mass radiation poisoning of nearly all Sephardi youths.

We believed that only Germans could be monsters, or Catholic popes during the Crusades, or African dictators (which more often than not were placed there as CIA dupes). We trusted our leaders. We were desperate to believe in the innate goodness of America, which left us vulnerable for exploitation even as we benefited from the exploitation of the rest of the world.

We are proving to be the biggest dumb asses the world has ever seen, as so many of us continue to hold out hope for someone with basic humanity to step forward and lead us out of captivity. What is it going to take before our perception of reality begins to resemble actual reality?

The concept of America has become a religion. Dissenters will be promptly cast into hell. Religion has been used to conduct war after war. Religion is obsessed with being saved and special, and to prove one is special one has to manufacture the satanic other, and then proceed to destroy that other.

I don't place any hope on saving or changing the world. Only people becoming individuals offers any hope to our beleaguered world.

Mass movements are too easily corrupted, their energy harnessed to further the Death Cult's own ends. We are lazy and forget to think for ourselves. We seem to have a tendency to desire to be a part of something larger than ourselves. We don't like responsibility.

Did a bit of traveling, so I haven't posted for a while. Visited the lovely city of Toronto. I met Inspector Lohmann for dinner one evening, and we had a great chat. It is a strange feeling sitting on the precipice of complete entropy, but it is encouraging to visit with those who can see what is going on our strange reality.

Whenever I take a break from writing, I always feel a keen resistance to getting back to the practice. I really should never take a break, but I always look for any excuse to do so. I can usually trick myself into getting back into the game by starting with a quote:

"Every living thing is a sort of imperialist, seeking to transform as much as possible of its environment into itself and its seed." - Bertrand Russell

I suppose the above is true. We are so close to that whirling vortex of death that we adopt its values without questioning their origin.

Some of us think we are so damn special that we seek to subsume as much of our environment as possible, and return as little as possible. We want something for nothing. We want to be saved for just being who we are.

Producing fruit for the modern crop of Christians means shoving the Bush cult of death down the world's throat. It will come back and drag them down with it too, but we will likely be too miserable to cough up a feeble, "I told you so."

Besides we all had our part to play in the current crop of troubles. US citizens couldn't be bothered to shut our country down for the rape and pillaging of South America. We just bought bigger cars. Most of us aren't interested in truth, and are so self satisfied that we can't imagine a disparity between our subjectivity and objective truth can possibly exist.

The middle class squandered what little extra time left over from their jobs and raising kids. They passed on their imperialist values to their children. They taught the kids to love television, and then sacrificed those children to the death cult of the elite.

We divided ourselves up like we were told: Left or Right, Democrat or Republican, etc. We trapped ourselves in the binary world, and we trusted on their authority that it was the only reality. We educated ourselves under the system we were told. We couldn't be bothered to ease the burden of the imprisoned or the impoverished.

The same tune played through out history. This time their may be a key change, but it pretty much sounds the same. Science has harnessed itself to the death cult, like it usually does: the quick jaunt from the catapult to the anti-matter bomb is not really an advance but devolution. It as if many of us are compelled toward nothingness; we give into that siren song of peace through death. So many of our great minds seek to speed the process with greater and more glorious means of killing.

Those who are of a life affirming orientation have remained in a blissful state of ignorance of this death cult. We have lacked the imagination or the willingness to see its manifestations, despite the overwhelming evidence littered throughout history. The body count is astonishing, yet we are willingly distracted by strange beliefs such as "progress".

Frank Manuel credits Jacques Turgot (1727-1781) as having, "framed a new conception of world history from remotest antiquity to the present and constituted the first important version in modern times of the ideology of progress."

Apparently, this Turgot character delivers a lecture in 1750 that is the catalyst of change in human perception of history. Humanity begins to change from perceiving history as cyclical, and begins to view history as a straight line. And with every passing moment it is progress and enlightenment, well occasionally there is the wrong turn and the the step backward but...

We see societies establishing themselves, nations forming themselves, which in turn dominate over other nations or become subject to them. Empires rise and fall; laws, forms of government, one succeeding another; the arts, the sciences, are discovered and are cultivated; sometimes retarded and sometimes accelerated in their progress, they pass from one region to another. Self-interest, ambition, vainglory, perpetually change the scene of the world, inundate the earth with blood. Yet in the midst of their ravages manners are gradually softened, the human mind takes enlightenment, separate nations draw nearer to each other, commerce and policy connect at last all parts of the globe, and the total mass of the human race, by the alternations of calm and agitation, of good conditions and of bad, marches always, although slowly, towards still higher perfection...

I don't know about you, but I have not noticed much "perfection". Turgot's narrow, racist vision inspired other loudmouths such as Locke and Adam Smith, and the rest is history.

Many of us still believe in progress, despite the obvious fact that we are experiencing a replay of WW II and the Crusades. Sure, the players have changed slightly, but the goals appear to be the same: Power through destruction, death except for a small elite, and plenty of us peons willing to play along. Techno-toys do not equal progress. We can teach a chimp how to use an ipod or a robot arm.

I am pretty sure chaos results when the distance between reality and our perception of reality are so great that the resulting clash of the two explodes in our face. When so many of us have no idea of objective reality the resulting chaos may expand exponentially. It is impossible to achieve complete objectivity, we are not god, but so few are even open to learning. The unknown is too frightening, and we prefer to cower in the corner hoping to be spared or taken care of like a good sheep.

We dream of a good shepherd, while forgetting the shepherd's motivation for protecting and feeding the sheep is to shear and eat them.

Plenty of people who may begin with a life affirming orientation can be easily swayed toward the dark side. Fascist subconscious motivations and beliefs can creep in so beguilingly and slowly that we are not even aware of it. We have all met people who truly believe that if everyone thought like themselves the world would be a pretty good place. This is merely a desire for control and conformity - the opposite of creativity and life - and perhaps an understandable, if misguided, wish for the suffering to end.

For too long, those who love life have refused to examine the death cult that has held humanity under its hypnotic, predator's spell. We have ignored the evidence; we refused to see that some beings may wear a cloak of humanity but are truly monsters. We try to warn each other with zombie movies, but after the impact has worn off we shuffle along much like a zombie ourselves.

These monsters are working under the bright light of day now. We no longer can afford the luxury of not paying attention to reality left and right.

From my own point of view, the way that a concept like hope can be made useful is when it is not connected to an expected success — when it starts to be something different from optimism — because when you start trying to think ahead into the future from the present point, rationally there really isn’t much room for hope. Globally it’s a very pessimistic affair, with economic inequalities increasing year by year, with health and sanitation levels steadily decreasing in many regions, with the global effects of environmental deterioration already being felt, with conflicts among nations and peoples apparently only getting more intractable, leading to mass displacements of workers and refugees ... It seems such a mess that I think it can be paralysing. If hope is the opposite of pessimism, then there’s precious little to be had. On the other hand, if hope is separated from concepts of optimism and pessimism, from a wishful projection of success or even some kind of a rational calculation of outcomes, then I think it starts to be interesting — because it places it in the present. - Brian Massumi

Victor Ostrovsky

I briefly mentioned former Mossad agent, Victor Ostrovsky, on Monday (Blackmail). Just thought I would post a bit more about him. He is now a writer and painter, with a gallery dedicated to his work. The above painting, Jerusalem Paradox, was painted by him, and his work clearly reflects his time spent in the underworld of espionage.

CIA/FBI/Mossad are large crime syndicates, and boy do you pay hell if you try to get out and tell the truth:

"We will get to him by other means, we will break him economically", stated the chief of the Mossad, Israel's CIA, to a Knesset committee after the failure of the government of Israel's attempt to ban publication of my first book, By Way of Deception, in the U.S. and Canada. This statement made on camera was purposely leaked to an Israeli reporter and printed in the weekend edition of Ma'ariv, Israel's leading daily newspaper, with the military censor's approval. Since that day, Israel's foreign intelligence agency has waged a war of attrition against me with the enthusiastic cooperation of its cabal of North American Zionist organizations.

For years as a Canadian-born, Israel-raised former Mossad caseworker I was unwilling to accept the possibility of a wide conspiracy against me. After all, my book had finally been published. What more harm could I do to the country I had left in disgust to return to the land of my birth. Only hitting rock bottom has finally jolted me out of this state of innocence - and optimism that a change of luck is just around the corner. I'm now convinced that I am the target of a broad collusion between elements of the Israel government and their gofers, mostly in the American Jewish community.

Following publication of my By Way of Deception I wrote a spy novel, Lion of Judah, using the spycraft I'd learned with the Mossad as background. The book described a fictional Mossad operation aimed at thwarting a secret peace process underway in the Middle East. (The book was written and published before the real-life, year-long secret negotiations that led to the Oslo accord came to light.)

In the book I revealed considerably more about Mossad techniques than I had in By Way of Deception. But, despite the wide publicity garnered by my first book due to the Israeli government's unsuccessful effort to suppress it, my second book was ignored.

Radio and television interviews that were scheduled by my publisher were canceled almost as soon as they were booked. A speaker's bureau in Toronto, which seldom had trouble arranging speaking engagements with student and other groups eager to have me as a speaker, found that the engagements were cancelled before I could appear. In fact, the cancellations occurred each time a loal B'nai B'rith Anti-Defamation League (ADL) chapter got wind of them, and they always did.

But, of course, the less I spoke, the more time I had to write. In 1995, when my third book, The Other Side of Deception, another work of non-fiction, was published, the efforts against me were stepped up.

So, on Oct. 21, 1995, I was surprised to be invited by Canadian Television (CTV) producer Ron Fine to do a guest appearance on "Canada AM", the widely viewed Canadian version of "Good Morning America". Scheduled to appear on the same program, via satellite from Israel, was Israeli journalist Yosef Lapid, the former head of Israeli television.

An Appeal To Murder

Lapid had earned his 14 minutes of North American media fame by appealing openly on the Israeli television show "Popolitica" for the Mossad to seek me out in Canada and kill me for writing my books. He had followed this with an article making the same appeal in the Tel Aviv daily Ma'ariv headlined "By Virtue of Murder" [see accompanying article].

On cue, Lapid repeated, as I listened, his call for my assassination on the Canadian television show, but this time with a twist. He said that, since Israel's Mossad could not kill me in Canada without causing a diplomatic incident, "I hope that there would be a decent Jew in Canada who would do the job for us". [...]

A disturbing story from yesterday reminded me of something from Charles Fort's work:

CARROLL, Iowa (AP) - City officials are perplexed over the discovery of mysterious chunks of flesh that have been clogging up city water lines. A month ago, city officials sent a hunk of meaty-fatty tissue to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for identification.

As they wait for those results, three similar chunks of fleshy material were found on Thursday in another water main during routine flushing, Public Works Director Randy Krauel said.

A city worker discovered the blockage when a diffuser on a fire hydrant became clogged, Krauel said.

Additional flushing removed two other chunks from water mains, he said.

"Again, we're really not sure what it is," he said. "The pieces kind of looked like the first one. There was no hair and no real bone. There were varying degrees of the substance, whatever it is." [...]

Probably just some animal that came to an unkind end, right? Read all of Charles Fort's books and you may not be so sure anymore. Anyway, I couldn't resist the opportunity to quote him:

I posted a couple of days ago about the explosive allegations that the US may be blackmailing Putin into keeping quiet about Russian satellite photos proving that it was not a plane that hit the Pentagon on 9/11.

Blackmail and terrorism are just how things get done, but if you are not aware of how prevelant such activities are today, then such an idea may sound unbelievable.

The US literally wrote the book on blackmailing. The text book that is:

Sherman Skolnick is often disparaged due to his love of hyperbole, none the less, he makes some good points in his blackmail series:

Blackmail is business as usual, as former Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani pointed out:

Bush's remarks [were] "rude and impudent," adding that "threats and blackmail might work with people who are afraid of the Americans, but Iran had a long history of revolutionary resistance to American pressure, and adopting such a tone would have an opposite effect."

The Robinowitz operation is mildly clever. There is a lot of energy expended toward promoting the idea that he is only trying to give research into 9/11 some validity, while at the same time saying the real trouble is peak oil.

He has gone around publicly pushing the idea of peer review for 9/11 research claiming that it is not censorship. He says that the sciences use peer review and that is not censorship. The truth is that there is plenty of censorship in the sciences, and there are numerous shocking and strange ways to censor science. But that is a another story for another day.

9/11 research has no validity in the minds of many US citizens. Many are not even aware that there are unanswered questions. Trying to force honest people to shut up about the weakest link in the official 9/11 narrative will not magically give research into this awful crime any more cachet among these people.

More of these people may begin seeking answers as the US economy crumbles, and as more die in illegal and vile wars. In a strategic move, a major psyop operation has been put into place to confuse, misdirect, and defuse such a situation.

A standard procedure in such operations is to accuse others what they themselves are doing. Those that publish research that shows a high probability that it was not a plane that blew a hole in the side of the pentagon are being accused of somehow hindering the efforts of "true" 9/11 research and its dissemination. Who started this weird narrative?

A reality is being created, just by saying it is so: that research in this crime is being held back by forces other than a rogue US/Israel government; that researchers who debunk the no plane theories somehow have more validity; and that those calling for peer review have somehow been mysteriously appointed as worthy of being a peer while those who think such a concept silly and controlling are not worthy of being included in such a club.

I started a blog, 9.11 Soundbytes, to post quotes from the memory hole on the terrorist attack as I found them. I received an interesting email from Mark Robinowitz of oilempire.us regarding the blog, and I will share a small fraction of it with you.

My guess is that he regularly sends something similar to all sites that link to The Pentagon Strike Video. The email makes him appear more like a paid COINTELPRO agent, or so I think.

I have written briefly here about psyop operations, and have posted an image of a propaganda wheel from a 1950's government sponsored research paper demonstrating methods used. There is plenty of evidence that such activities have never stopped, and US citizens are a primary target of propaganda or psyops as it is now called.

Regular readers know that I am opposed to the Peak Oil concept, particularly when it is used to downplay the obvious crimes of the Bush Regime. In a blatant and obvious attempt at sleight of hand trickery, Ruppert (and buddyRobinowitz) is telling us to not look at the man behind the curtain, instead focus on our impending economic collapse due to peak oil.

While searching for information on the email I received, I turned up this very interesting tidbit:

Our friends who circulate socially among various government officials brought out some photos to show of a recent private party. Among the attendees of said party - which I reiterate, was private and not an "official function," was the brother of Vladimir Putin! There was the usual grouping of various ministers, AND one of the most powerful men in the Financial World (and here I don't mean America, I mean the GLOBAL Financial world!)

What was interesting about these photos was the obvious camaraderie of these individuals depicted in the photographs. There was Vlad's brother whooping it up with what were obviously close pals in France.

Hmmmm...

So, of course I asked about this. What came next was, in a sense, quite shocking. It seems that it is common knowledge in these circles that Russian satellites photographed a ship-launched craft (seems to have been a drone type plane rather than a missle) that ended up impacting the Pentagon on Sept 11, 2001, and that, for various reasons this information has been withheld from the public.

I was naturally startled to hear this even though I have long held the opinion that it was NOT a commercial jetliner that hit the Pentagon. I think the thing that startled me was the fact that, if Russia (and perhaps other countries with satellites?) had proof that Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon, why weren't they revealing this?

It was explained to me that during part of the time George Bush was "incommunicado" on September 11, 2001, he was on the phone to Putin "negotiating." That was a polite way of saying "blackmailing." Apparently, Bush, by way of MOSSAD and/or the CIA had enough goods on Vlad to keep him silent.

Now THAT explains why Putin has not responded publicly to the rather obnoxious criticisms of Russia made by Bush and Condi Rice.

In any event, it was explained to me further that these satellite photos HAD been revealed to Thierry Meyssan who was asked by either French or Russian intell to write his book "Pentagate" to "leak" the info that Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon. His instructions were, apparently, that he had to "make the case" without recourse to official backing; he couldn't refer to the satellite photos.

Well, suddenly, a LOT of things began to make sense. [...]

A lot of pieces begin to fall into place if we begin to consider that the above has some validity (and I do). The above post from Perfect Infidel, goes on to discuss the author of the email sent to me, Mark Rabinowitz:

Considering the very good case for the involvement of MOSSAD in 9-11, the very good case that the victims phone calls WERE faked, not to mention what I have discovered about satellite photos on 9-11, it sure does look like the Oil Empire Website is a "plant," so to say. So I did a whois lookup. Here's what I found: [...] [catalytic: I cut out the whois information]

The site is claimed by a Mark Rabinowitz even if it was "prepared for use" as early as February of 2003. That, in itself, is rather suspicious. Seems that this was right about the time that the Meyssan book was making a splash.

Robinowitz was posting on usenet as far back as 1994 in regards to an auto free DC. He's on a few dc.biking threads on usenet.

Rabinowitz then did some reporting for the Institute of Global Communications based in MD.

He then moved to Eugene, Oregon by the looks of things and is into permaculture. He appears to be coming from a "green" perspective. He got into the Y2K hysteria for a bit and now it appears he's onto the "Peak Oil deal" via Ruppert.

Do a Ruppert- Robinowitz search on google and you'll see what I mean in regards to the Ruppert promotion.

So it DOES look like Ruppert - who has been quoted as promoting the "no plane theory" but has now advised everybody to just "forget 9-11 and concentrate on Peak Oil" - has a strange bedfellow with Rabinowitz.

Shades of COINTELPRO!

The Pentagon Strike Video has been such a hit on the internet that even the Washington Pos t sat up and took notice. Something had to be done.

Now just imagine what you would do, if you committed the crime of the century and had infinite resources to cover it up along with willing lackeys to sally forth and do your bidding. I am reminded of an old AC/DC song.

Playing along with the Bush Regime is much worse than anything the anti-hero of that song could imagine doing. 9/11 has been used to justify mass murder and genocide. For the Worldwide Attack Matrix to continue, it is imperative that the truth not come out.

And they might have overplayed their hand with blowing a hole in the side of the Pentagon. Hubris will get you every time.

I have not yet seen a reasonable explanation as to how a plane could plow into the side of Pentagon in the heaviest defended air space in the world - without destroying the lawn or the lamp posts. The Regime is counting on most of us to not question the official story. For the rest of us, they send out their agents to create a lot of confusion and misdirection.

Even with the message that the Bush regime allowed it to happen, justification can be made in the minds of some that we should continue and escalate the "War on Terrorism". That psyop fantasy still handily delivers the idea of the enemy out there, ready to strike at any moment, so give up your freedoms as we march off to war.

Who had the resources to pull of such an attack? Who has benefited from these wars? Certainly not the people of Iraq or Afghanistan, who had nothing to do with 9/11 anyway. As the US and Israel prepare to escalate the violence, we can expect more desperate attempts to have us look away from the truth.

And Hinduism, he said, offers ‘false hope’; it guarantees ‘purification’ based on a ‘morally cruel’ concept of reincarnation resembling ‘a continuous circle of hell’. The Cardinal predicted Buddhism would replace Marxism as the Catholic Church’s main enemy this century. [...]

Ratzinger helped put together The Church and the Mistakes of the Past, a stirring apology for 2,000 years of violence and persecution by the Catholic Church, which the Pope released last March. ‘Even men [sic] of the church, in the name of faith and morals, have sometimes used methods not in keeping with the Gospel,’ said Ratzinger. And that's okay, he might as well have added. Sounds like a Bush supporter. We can probably expect more of the "Might makes right" and "The ends justify the means" kind of theology. Would we expect any less from the church?

When things begin to really go wrong with the internet, and they claim it is due to terrorist activity, but what they really want to do is silence truth, remember these people:

Nevertheless, Verton says military personnel have told him numerous "black programs" involving CNA capabilities are ongoing, while new polices and rules of engagement are now on the books. [...]

If you study the long arm of COINTELPRO activity, you realize that the power structure has no problems with using their capabilities on US citizens. That phrase, "new...rules of engagement", is not comforting.

This story reminded me that back in 2003 it was discovered that a Naval ship was being used as a spam relay: The amphibious transport dock and spam relay.

My paranoid mind asks the question, were they cracked or was this part of the plan for causing trouble on the internet?

While Vieira is busy invoking Stalin, lets take a look at what Stalin wrought:

I have no doubt that US citizens will be reviled and hated around the world soon. (More than we are now. This time it is personal.) I am pretty sure this is exactly what the Bush/neo-con regime wants. They are in the business of creating enemies out there. What better way to justify perpetual war than have the entire world our enemy.

It is almost taboo to speak of current events in the workplace or on the street here in the US. We are at war. We will be at war for the rest of our lives. It seems that many US citizens assume we will carry on as always.

Don't count on it. After careful planning, an economic collapse appears to be in the works.

In the past raping and pillaging was conducted a bit more discreetly, although there was plenty of evidence available for anyone who cared. Now, it is known that we will keep our mouths shut, allowing elections to be stolen, and giving in to an insane and vocal minority who are full of lust for Armageddon. So, expect more of the same.

We can expect to have the predator turn its hot gaze our way. Oh, we will scream. It may just be too late by then. We couldn't stop the torture and pain of those slightly different or out of our sight.

Every era in human history has its troubles. Right now it looks like we are in some crazy mash up of the WWII era and the Crusades. I don't suppose we are so special that we should be reserved from such horrors. We humans have always given up our free will with great abandon. Not much better than slaves really.

It so hard to discover the truth. Particularly when there are so many mythical constructs created with our ignorance and willingness to believe in mind. It so much easier to just believe in what sounds reasonable or fits in with what we desire to be true.

We are practically insane in how we cling to what we perceive as reasonable. How easy it is to discount out of hand anything that does not fit in with how we think the universe should work. It may be our undoing.

There is the other side of the spectrum also. Many of us jump at the outrageous explanations of reality, even with little evidence, in some desire to make sense of the world. I suppose there is the same narcissistic motivations at the root of both ends of the spectrum. We all want to play at god, and rearrange the universe as we see fit. We are filled with shoulds, and there is little room for how it really is.

Psyop operations work well at both ends of the spectrum and have integrated themselves nicely in both. There is some suitable psyop operation flavor available for nearly all palates to help palliate crimes of the state.

"Land of the free. Home of the brave." Complete myth now. To continue believing such, is to deny reality. There are a few brave souls out there, but most of us are busy hiding behind the skirt of mass media myth making. We are only free to believe in what we are told.

I noticed a particularly bizarre flavor of psyop activity that seems to be appealing to some: Some Columbian guy is writing that Nostradamus predicted an overwhelming horde of Muslims, generally raising hell and mayhem everywhere, and destroying civilization. No specific references to quatrains or anything supportive. Just your basic racism. The blog Steel Magnolia has some interesting things to say about Nostradamus.

We know the reverse is true: an overwhelming horde of Americans have been invading or planning to invade just about everywhere. There is even a name for it: The Worldwide Attack Matrix. The word terrorist has been redefined: Anyone who does not lie down and allow the US/Israel murder machine roll over them and their family. This definition is already being directed toward US citizens. Pretty much 24 hours a day on Fox.

While we are alive, we might as well make the most of it. No use just sitting around just playing the good consumer. (Even after the money is gone, many of us will probably consume what ever myth we are told as to why it is gone.)

Who knows what we may discover along the way? We do live in an open universe.

It is almost bewildering what is going on in our little world. Almost unbelievable.

We are caught in the headlights of an agenda alien to our understanding. An agenda so bereft of anything human, that many of us are having difficulties understanding how evil or entropic it is; how destitute and destructive to anything that we may perceive as desirable.

The psychopaths in the Bush regime may take us all on a journey that may open our eyes a bit. Maybe they will even over play their hand.

9News is learning new information about the drug bust at Milford High School that ended with the arrests of 16 students.

The bust came after the school district along with the police department hired an undercover agent from a private company based in Dayton to pose as a student.

For seven months, a 23-year-old female college graduate posed as a Milford High School student.

As a result of her work, police say she was able to buy drugs from students including ecstasy, mushrooms, and marijuana. [...]

This little incident reminded me of a Fox television show:

21 Jump Street was about a group of under-age looking cops
who went undercover on high schools to catch young criminals before they become older, more dangerous criminals. In later seasons, the team went less and less undercover on high schools, and the plots focused more on the cops' personal lives.

21 Jump Street was FOX'S first most serious drama and also its first hit series. It strove to be a better show than average. Especially in the first two seasons, the plots were very tightly written and the internal continuity puts a whole lot of today's shows to shame. It dipped a bit after the departure of Patrick Hasburgh at the end of the 2nd season and became somewhat of a showcase to show pretty faces.

We should all be worried when reality is mirrored by Fox TV.

I am just getting started. But this is good enough as a representative sample of a few of the dangers that we face in the near future and in the now. It is like there is a giant reset button on earth, and it is about to be pressed. Any one of the above is enough to cause serious headaches and set backs. Personally, I think we may have to face a confluence of assaults, plus I am skipping a few of the dangers.

At this stage, we may need a bit more help than non-polluting, renewable energy resources. It should be obvious that we have multiple issues at work here, and our use of petrochemicals is only one part of the equation. Is it the end of the world like a Christian Fundie Armageddon? Probably not. Although, very likely it may be the end of the world as we know it.

I figure that those in power know about these things, and worse, and are keeping some of the data to themselves. Do I have smoking gun proof? Not necessarily, but I think we can get close enough for assigning probabilities well over zero. What do they plan on doing with this knowledge? Again, I think there may be enough knowledge out there to draw certain inferences...

Meanwhile the rich get richer.

All Peak Oil, All the Time part 2

I am attempting to place peak oil in context in this series. It is a huge task, and I find myself balking a bit at the enormity of it all. If my hypothesis is correct, then peak oil plays a part in nearly everything that is going on in the world right now.

We've got a lot going on.

Peak oil activists and I agree on this point, but we radically diverge on the exact reasons why. I will be breaking the topic into small chunks, partly to help me get my mind around it, and partly because very few want to read long articles in a blog.

For my hypothesis to make sense, I will just reveal it a bit at a time. Besides, as I continue to research I am open to changing it as new facts reveal themselves.

When I finally wrap it up, you can decide for yourself if I am close to the truth, or just off my rocker. I will even attempt to project into the future what we can expect to hear from this movement.

As an aside: I have not owned a car in seven years, preferring to use public transportation. Make of that what you will.

To summarize and clarify what I have covered so far: We have a conveniently leaked report that shows the government is very much concerned about peak oil. Historically, Those who have expressed concern regarding the imminent demise of our oil supplies have often been petroconsultants and the like.

At the same time they usually deny that burning petrochemicals is a contributor to global warming. It does not appear that most deny the existence of global warming, at least not that I have discovered. It is becoming more and more difficult to deny that climate change is taking place, with more alarming data surfacing almost every day. I do think that the use of petrochemicals a likely contributor, along with a number of other factors that contribute to the growing degradation of our environment.

We have people in the know about our imminent demise of oil supplies yet are still heavily invested in the oil industry itself; perhaps expecting to make a fortune as it is announced oil is now a scarce resource. This includes the Bush crime family.

New discoveries of vast reserves of petrochemicals are discussed in the peak oil subculture, yet quickly discounted. So for I have discovered : 1) There is not enough time to reach these reserves before the oil clock runs out; 2) still not significant enough discoveries to meet the growing demand; 3) we should ignore these reserves due to the horrible impact burning such fuels, or using them for fertilizer, has on our environment. Running out of petrochemicals is a good thing in the long run.

Perhaps I should not lump all peak oil activists, or believers, or what ever label they choose for themselves, together. But to move quickly through this topic I will have to make generalizations, and there does seem to be certain directions this movement is taking. Clarifications can be made later if I think necessary.

A prominent theme that runs throughout the peak oil narrative is to deliberately turn away from the 9/11 investigation. Ruppert, once seeming to show great promise as a 9/11 investigator, deemed that this great crime is no longer worthy of investigation since we will never discover the smoking gun. Instead we need to scare people into taking peak oil seriously. The fate of our planet depends on it, he says. He fears that his journalistic credentials will not be taken seriously if he brings up the fact that a plane did not crash into the Pentagon.

Ruppert is not the only one who dismisses getting to the bottom of the 9/11 investigation.

In recent months a few of the many web sites that challenge the official account of the events of 9/11/2001 have also attacked the idea of peak oil. I would prefer to ignore this controversy, and there are good reasons for doing so, as some of these web sites lack credibility on other counts; nevertheless, as these sites are magnets for large numbers of people who are just beginning to find their way out of the consensus societal trance, they appear to be doing some palpable harm. I have received at least a couple of dozen e-mails from sincere people wanting to know my response to claims that "peak oil" is a scam, and that oil is actually an inexhaustible resource.

The above is part of Richard Heinberg's response to the Wall Street Journal article that reveals:

Production at the oil field, deep in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Louisiana, was supposed to have declined years ago. And for a while, it behaved like any normal field: Following its 1973 discovery, Eugene Island 330's output peaked at about 15,000 barrels a day. By 1989, production had slowed to about 4,000 barrels a day.

Then suddenly -- some say almost inexplicably -- Eugene Island's fortunes reversed. The field, operated by PennzEnergy Co., is now producing 13,000 barrels a day, and probable reserves have rocketed to more than 400 million barrels from 60 million. Stranger still, scientists studying the field say the crude coming out of the pipe is of a geological age quite different from the oil that gushed 10 years ago. [...]

Heinberg never gets to those good reasons that I have yet discovered. Maybe I missed them.

That oil may be a renewable resource, rather than a fossil fuel is either quickly dismissed, or it does not matter anyway since using the stuff is harmful to our planet. There is enough evidence for me to assign a decent probability to the hypothesis that oil is not a fossil fuel. A trap that we all fall into is to assume that something is known for certain. All science ever does is assign probabilities, or at least that is what it should do. Scientists themselves are human beings, and are culpable of accepting something as dogma, or at least making public statements that are rather dogmatic.

Belief is the end of the search for truth, I think.

I find it interesting that part of the peak oil agenda is to diverge from the 9/11 investigation. (The word "agenda" often has negative connotations, but we all have agendas. I have an agenda in this series: to dispute the commonly held wisdom of the peak oil subculture. I do not intend for the word agenda to have a covertly negative connotation here. Nor do I intend for my use of the word "subculture" to have negative connotations.)

There seems to be a fear of tainting the peak oil message with 9/11. As if wanting to come to a complete understanding of such a huge crime, and the ensuing violence could be a taint. But, alas, it could, and I recognize this. The goal of the peak oil advocacy is to put this before the masses; gain a much larger audience.

Such a large audience is just not ready for the truth it has been decided, and I find this troubling and rather elitist. I refuse to make such a choice for others. I disagree with ignoring truth to gain this audience. And I find it suspiciously convenient for the Bush Crime family. As this series progresses, I will continue to look at how the peak oil agenda fits in nicely with the Bush crime agenda. Along the way, I will have to examine some high strangeness.

So far we have been told that the ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were because of 9/11, even though we know now that this was never the case. Then the focus was weapons of mass destruction. The only weapons of mass destruction over there were used by the US. Now we have the incredible lies of spreading democracy and freedom. Soon, it may be time to "spread democracy" to Syria and Iran by attempting to destroy them. All lies.

It has even been publicly admitted that these wars are for Israel, but it is not talked about much since it would not be popular with the masses. It is quite obvious that the Bush regime is mobbed up with those whose allegiances are for Israel rather than the US.

Next on the roster of lies could easily be, "We went over there for the oil to save you. We failed and I'm sorry." I am not sure why we would believe this one, since everything else is a lie. Meanwhile millions have been murdered, tortured and mutilated. I won't have a warm fuzzy feeling that those people suffered for the off chance that I won't have to. But that will not be the truth. Not to mention, that the only freedom we will soon have left, is the freedom to starve.

We've got a lot more prying to do...

All Peak Oil, All the Time

I hadn't particularly planned on diving into the peak oil fray. But, I dashed off a post, where I could have been a bit more thoughtful, and it has even been alleged that I was doing a bit of axe grinding at Michael Ruppert's expense. Yeah, I guess I was.

I have little doubt that we will all be told that the oil is up, prepare to be really, really poor. The next declaration will probably be along the lines of, "Let's blame China!" (I have written about China bashing, and how I thought that might be a big set up)

Synchroniciy rings, and a report was leaked that declares:

"World oil peaking is going to happen," the report says. Only the "timing is uncertain". [...]

But in its conclusion the report makes troubling reading, noting that "the world has never faced a problem like this. Without massive mitigation more than a decade before the fact, the problem will be pervasive and will not be temporary. Previous energy transitions were gradual and evolutionary. Oil peaking will be abrupt and revolutionary". [...]

Guess who is behind this little report that was "leaked":

The Annapolis Centre for Science-based Public Policy is a group which has received $658,000 in funding from Exxon Mobil since 1998. It openly disputes the idea that global warming is the result of burning fossil fuels.

Wait it gets better:

In a late 1998 merger Petroconsultants became IHS Energy Group, a subsidiary of Information Handling Services Group (IHS Group), a diversified conglomerate owned by Holland America Investment Corp., IHS Group's immediate parent company, for the Thyssen-Bornemisza Group (TBG, Inc.). In the 1920s George Herbert Walker and his son-in- law, Prescott Bush, had helped the Thyssen dynasty finance its acquisitions through Union Banking Corp. and Holland-American Trading Corp. [...]

Yes, we have the Bush family's freaky smirk all over this tale of woe:

Colin J. Campbell, the leader of the Neo-Hubbertians, is a petroleum geologist from Ballydehob, Ireland, and author of The Coming Oil Crisis (1997). He worked for Texaco as an exploration geologist and then at Amoco as chief geologist for Ecuador. He is a Trustee of the Oil Depletion Analysis Centre (ODAC) and the founder of the Association for the Study of Peak Oil and Gas (ASPO), originally a network of 24 oil scientists. ASPO has Associate members like Halliburton and financial sponsors like Schlumberger, but Campbell is critical of the Bush-Cheney Administration for "collectively having personal investments of as much as $150 M in oil companies"

And we will probably have a Bush in the White House making the announcement that there is no more oil:

A third term for Bush?

This is it folks. Those who figured, after this election, we would be rid of George W. Bush might want to think again. They are wrong: a third term can be had. The XXII Amendment is quite clear on this. George W. Bush has only been elected to the Presidency once. His first term he was appointed, not elected. And, during his first term, he was not sitting during part of some other President's term of office.

We have a mass murderer at the helm of the ship folks; he's here to stay; and he is going to announce we need to make cut backs because the oil is running dry. "There's nothing we can do, except let a lot of people starve. I'm sorry you are so poor. We tried to get to that oil in the Middle East to save you. It just wasn't there, and they kept blowing up the pipe lines anyway. Nasty terrorists. Nasty foreigners making you starve."

So I will answer my own question. No we aren't ever going to stop talking about peak oil. All peak oil, all the time. Bush's puppeteers are placing the topic on the table, and they aren't going to take it away. It may be the last words we hear ringing in our ears.

The "we" in my question, "Can we stop talking about peak oil now?" referred to those who may care that we are at perpetual war, that our freedoms are gone, and that genocide is being conducted. I was referring to those who may still want to continue pushing for full understanding of what the hell happened on 9/11.

That recent Geotimes article is not the only vast discovery that is being ignored or written off with great fervor. I refer you to Beware the 'Peak Oil' Agenda.

I am not going to be tricked into worrying about losing my skin and shirt over this peak oil scam. Instead I want to see what is going on behind this curtain.

Ruppert is using this peak oil thing as a wedge he says, because he figures we are all too stupid to understand that some people are so evil that they would slaughter their own. Perhaps he is right. Most of us have no empathy, the reasoning may go, and are racist bastards, so we have to be really scared about our own impending mortality before we will wake up. Perhaps he is right.

But those aren't the kind of people I would want on my side.

We aren't going to see some alternative energy device come and save us. Psychopathy is the corporate model, so don't look for salvation from all those people making a hell of a living from war. We have fascists in power here in the US. They are not advocates of life, as they have so eagerly demonstrated.

Who benefits when we turn our gaze away from the truth of who these people are, and start worrying about peak oil?

So, maybe we do need to keep talking about peak oil. Just exactly why is it being sold to us?

Jon Rappoport, of No More Fake News, discusses a recent Geotimes article: Astonishing Amount Of Oil And Gas Off Louisiana: It's Raining Hydrocarbons In The Gulf, By Lisa M. Pinsker.

This article does describe an astonishing amount of oil bubbling up:

Cathles and his team estimate that in a study area of about 9,600 square miles off the coast of Louisiana, source rocks a dozen kilometers down have generated as much as 184 billion tons of oil and gas " about 1,000 billion barrels of oil and gas equivalent. "That's 30 percent more than we humans have consumed over the entire petroleum era," Cathles says. "And that's just this one little postage stamp area; if this is going on worldwide, then there's a lot of hydrocarbons venting out."

Jon doubts much will come of this discovery, and I agree with him. The point I wanted to add to his thoughtful discussion is that this discovery sounds like another nail in the coffin of the Peak Oil debate.

For what ever reason, Ruppert has detoured his research into the 9/11 terrorist act and segued into the Peak Oil dead end. He has effectively taken the heat off the real perpetrators, and has taken a path that will go no where.

Whether out of naivete or something more sinister, I would not want to say.
